He doesn't need much to work with.........which could allow them to eat Dak's cap number and not extend. Does that make sense?

Now........ I am under no delusions that Belichick is still the guy who won 6 SBs. I get that Brady was a big part of those wins.

But if I am sitting in The Star today, desperately trying to figure out how I can win a SB in the next 2-3 years while I am still alive, you'd be a moron to conclude that McCarthy gives you a better shot than Belichick.

I agree on all the above. But I also want to get out of that model. We need better players. Gonna have to extend Dak to do it if you get a older coach.

One thing that will happen. If he is given control over everything but talent evaluation and drafting. Accountablity. That is a word that hasnt been thrown around a lot in Dallas.

Jerry hated every minute BP was running things and BB would want even more power
