The first year Belichick has to coach without his two best assistants, what happens? The team gets their arses kicked in the second round. Mark it, this team is on the decline and Belichick will never take another whiff of a Superbowl.
I see no evidence of their decline at all. They were overwhelmed my injuries this year. That will kill any team. Considering everything they had to overcome they accomplished quite a bit. Next year they will still be one of the favorites in the AFC.

5 turnovers caused the pats to lose. I dont give a rats arse who is coordinating. when you turn the ball over 5 times, your not going to win...

and how Dewayne Parcells is such a football god is beyond me. he has a 57% carerr winning percentage.

Take the blinders off my man, they got several of their key players back and healthy for the playoffs and still got blasted by Denver. It all came down to very POOR execution as EVIDENCED by the turnovers, penalties, missed field goal, etc., etc. That all comes down to COACHING!!

And next year, they won't even win the division, Miami will. I'm betting they don't make the playoffs either. Parcells players will be too old to carry that team anymore (McGinest, Bruschi, T. Brown, Vinatieri).

Injuries do not explain their whole season. They had most of them back for this game- as the announcers and everyone else KEPT mentioning.
They could not run the ball this year. They were one dimensional- and it caught up to them in the playoffs like it does to EVERY TEAM.
Brady did not have a good game- coincidence that Brady has had SEVERAL bad games this year without Weis to hold his hand? Their D- even with most of the missing back- could not make the critical stops they used to.
The Pats have NEVER had that much talent that they could runover people- a LOT of it was coaching- and a lot of it was the assistant coaches.
They do not have that big edge now- so that is that.

Statistically, he had his best year as a pro.

I read about how Flozell got hurt and that ruined our season....the Pats have 10 guys on IR.

A Charlie Weis coordinated offense doesn't turn it over that many times in a big game.

As far as winning percentage, that number is so misleading. Get a clue. Every team Parcells' took over was a bad football team, he had to rebuild. When you are having to rebuild at every job you take that will hurt your winning percentage. He's never stepped into a job that was playoff ready. Respect him for that. Many coaches step into teams that are loaded with talent, who are playoff ready teams. Parcells' never has.

The Giants were awful when he took the job and he turned the whole franchise around, along with George Young. Won 2 rings.

New England was terrible when Parcells' took over, they won 9 games the previous three seasons combined. He rebuilt them into a Super Bowl team and left a pretty good foundation there on defense.

The N.Y. Jets were 1-15 the year before Parcells' arrived and were in the AFC Championship game within two years. Not too shabby.

Dallas was 5-11 for three straight years before Parcell's arrived. Bad, bad team. 'Nuff said.

Brady had his best year- but he has several games that he stank up the place like he never has had before. He was very consistent before - up and down this year. And by the way- the Cowboys had a bunch on IR as well- and no one seemed to give us the benefit of the doubt like they did NE. BESIDES- what was supposedly their strength? THAT they could PLUG players in anyway you wanted and STILL WIN. GUess that wasn't true after all?

Brady sure seemed to be humble after the loss I guess an interception returned 100 yds will do that to a guy. I do not like Brady and I am not sure why there is something there untrustworthy or something and I wish Lynch would have taken his head off. He was running his mouth at Lynch after Lynch let up on that sack like he is Brett Favre or something I wish somebody would smack him in the mouth. Alright I am done ranting about Brady, just wanted everybody to know.

Yeah...ok...whatever...I've had discussions with you before...waste of energy.

The Pat suck...the Pats have always sucked...it was done with smoke and mirrors and you think Brees and Bledsoe are equal.

Have a nice day.

While this may have meant to be funny there's alot of truth to it.

This team played 7 games against the league's top 10.

They went 1-6. That's neither a team of destiny or a team of dynasty.

No Crennel and Weis did have alot to do with that. And now they're going to lose Eric Mangini a defensive coach to the Jets. Aging linebackers and an over the hill running back (Dillon) put this team in the middle of the pack next year, IMHO.

To be devils advocate 5 turnovers is an unprepared team...coaching takes the fall or is Parcells exonerated now???

Parcells has had a hall of fame career, 2 titles and success in building teams from scratch..only question is can he do it here in Dallas..has not thus far..but can he???

You must apply same blame for being unprepared like Parcells with our team versus Giants, Skins heck even STL. So Billy Boy Belli gets the blame
on this one!!!
