I'll take that bet.

I've got $200 that says they don't make the playoffs next year. Let's put it down in black and white right now.

Give me a break. Not even make the playoffs? You don't really mean that. :lmao:

Belichick can't win without his coodinators. I give the credit for all the Pats success to Crennel, and Weiss

I was thinking the same thing. I guess Crennel and or Weis were the real head coaches of the Patriots ;)

A Charlie Weis coordinated offense doesn't turn it over that many times in a big game.

As far as winning percentage, that number is so misleading. Get a clue. Every team Parcells' took over was a bad football team, he had to rebuild. When you are having to rebuild at every job you take that will hurt your winning percentage. He's never stepped into a job that was playoff ready. Respect him for that. Many coaches step into teams that are loaded with talent, who are playoff ready teams. Parcells' never has.

The Giants were awful when he took the job and he turned the whole franchise around, along with George Young. Won 2 rings.

New England was terrible when Parcells' took over, they won 9 games the previous three seasons combined. He rebuilt them into a Super Bowl team and left a pretty good foundation there on defense.

The N.Y. Jets were 1-15 the year before Parcells' arrived and were in the AFC Championship game within two years. Not too shabby.

Dallas was 5-11 for three straight years before Parcell's arrived. Bad, bad team. 'Nuff said.
Didn't Notre Dame turn the ball over a few times against Ohio St. in the Fiesta Bowl.I believe that was a Charlie Weiss offense.

Brady sure seemed to be humble after the loss I guess an interception returned 100 yds will do that to a guy. I do not like Brady and I am not sure why there is something there untrustworthy or something and I wish Lynch would have taken his head off. He was running his mouth at Lynch after Lynch let up on that sack like he is Brett Favre or something I wish somebody would smack him in the mouth. Alright I am done ranting about Brady, just wanted everybody to know.
You can rant and hate Brady all you want. The fact is if he was to never play another game he is a sure fire hall of famer. He had no running game.Injuries in his offensive line and with his runningbacks. His receivers are good but not great. He still had a MVP type season. He is 10-1 in the playoffs. He has won 3 super bowls,a 2 time super bowl MVP,and that is that!

That's a stupid bet.How many people were picking the Commanders to make the playoffs this year. You can never tell from year to year what's going to happen in this league anymore. So don't let your hatred for a certain team empty your wallet.

I think Belichick is a great coach, but the Patriots and Belichick really owe a lot to Parcells. If it wasn't for Parcells, I don't believe the Patriots win a Super Bowl.

The coordinators were important especially Weiss who had to rebuild the offense on his own. But, look at the other players that Parcells either drafted or brought in:

Drew Bledsoe (say what you will, but he won the 2001 AFC Championship game for the Patriots and then they were able to trade him away for some nice draft picks)

Troy Brown

Willie McGinest (probably the second greatest Patriot player of all time)

Ted Johnson

Roman Phifer

Tedy Bruschi

Ty Law

Otis Smith

Lawyer Milloy

Adam Vinatieri.

Oh yeah, when Belichick took over the Patriots they had made the playoffs the year prior.

Rich............

Belichick will never win again unless he gets his coordinators back they were the reason for his success :)

Hey I a, just making an obvious point LOO

Belechick has not won a thing without his coordinators so its obvious they deserve all the credit :)

This thread is fun...must really burn some who loved to use that excuse over and over and over and over and...well you get the picture.

Here's a point for ya. Peyton Manning can't play. He can't move, and he can't make decisions. The Colts should probably pick up QC in the offseason.

Maybe we need a new Quarterback Coordinator...maybe Lee just is not working out.

Sorry...just joking with you.

Eitherway...if you don't get the gist of this thread...it might be time to bow out and move on to others.

They should hire Steve Hoffman to work with him on his confidence

Oh, I get the point. I think BigD knows that. I was kinda playing along with the comment about Peyton sucking, maybe that wasn't clear. How about this;

Our line sucks. Do you know what Pitt would have done to Peyton playing behind our line? Bodybag time.

It's clear. Parcells sucks, he cannot win without Little Bill. Bledsoe can't win the big one, and sucks after the halfway point of the season. I could continue to speak in absolutes, but then I would look like a moron.:D
