ah Julius so you're saying Bledsoe is in the same league as Tom Brady then.

Bledsoe couldn't even convert a couple of third downs in the last 2 minutes against the sorry *** Commanders a few weeks ago. So he can do that against teams in the playoffs and TWICE in the Superbowl?

He's never proven anything so I have no idea how you can say if he was never injured he could have been considered the greatest of all time. Remember that Patriot team had Antoine Smith as the RB and some so so receivers. Brady carried that offense...and when put in positions where all the pressure was on him he came through everytime. Could Bledsoe have? I don't think so. Why should I believe he could? He's never proven he could.

I realize everyone is on his jock right now because he's had a few decent games but let's not lose our minds. He blew it at the end of the Skin game, I'm surprised he didn't take some more heat for that.

Sorry man but your wrong the outcome of the Skins game was out of play calling. Several times the coaches allowed Bledsoe to throw and the pass was either dropped or a penalty was thrown. Bledsoe never got sacked and did not turn the ball over. He had nothing to do with our loss.

Given you are a fan that has never won anything of consequence, are we supposed to care what you think?

Nors as modrator :D

Its the whole "everyone wants to be just like them" deal add that with the fact Mumbles is part of the Parcells tree and the madness will never end

Everyone is on his jock right now? I've supported Bledsoe throughout his career and I supported him even more in his unspectacular years 2003 and 2004 because I have known he was not the problem. Yes I'm saying Drew Bledsoe is a better passer than Tom Brady, but due to circumstance Tom Brady is generally considered the better quarterback. Which is an opinion I find ignorant because all things being equal Drew Bledsoe is the better quarterback and always has been. Tom Brady wasn't selected in the 6th round because he was a phenomenon he was selected in the 6th round because he is a 6th round passer on a dynasty. Drew Bledsoe stepped in in 2001 and won that AFC championship game just fine what makes you think he couldn't have won the superbowl?

Ultimately though my point is Tom Brady was not the "missing piece to the puzzle" for the patriots and that is what you are insinuating - it's totally false. The Patriots have a dynasty with or without Brady.

He was the missing piece of the puzzle ..

Cripes if you put him on the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills ... You have a Superbowl contender.

It's what every franchise must have in order to be a contender. A big time QB. (Unless you have an ungodly defense like the Ravens, Bears teams of years ago). Why has these teams struggled so much roughly in the last 10 years? They don't have that franchise QB. The Eagles became good once they drafted McNabb, Colts on Manning....

Our teams have been searching for years and until we find one were just going to be pretenders. Were kidding ourselves if we think otherwise.

As far as the Bledsoe being as good as Brady comparison maybe you've been into the booze a bit tonight man ... Brady has poise, pocket presence, good decision making skills and he's a winner. All things that our friend Drew Bledsoe does not have, and sadly he never will.

This is shear ignorance, a quarterback is a single piece of a very large unit. I'll tell you what won the Pats their Championships. Depth, depth at running back, depth at Linebacker, depth at cornerback, depth at both lines. Only fools honestly believe that the only difference between a good and bad team is a quarterback. Heck, Bledsoe's proof of that. Put a good team around him and he does just fine.

oh god that is frggin bull, Brady is not this all time great QB.

Thsi guy has been the benficary of a great team

He has a top 5 ranked D almost every year.

He has a top 5 OL ebery year.

and he has recivers who always make the catch no matter where the ball is.

Now if tom brady was so got dang on good, then why did he give what was it 3 points the entire first half against a bad colts D at the time. How did have such a horrible showing against the dolphins. He did it because he is a 6th round draft pick, who has a great team around him.

Brady is no Manning,is no Mcnabb, is no Vick,he is a 6th round draft choice who has a great team around him that allows him to be succesful, man stick dilfer in that team and he'd win another SB.

Oh really?

Ok can we agree the Dallas Cowboys have been a very bad team the last 10 years?? Yes ? ok good.

Now say we put Payton Manning on your team 10 years ago. Would you still have been a lousy team the past 10 years?

Hmm yeah that's what I thought.

Well 10 years ago we still had troy Aikman, Emmitt SMith, and Micheal Irvin,

Second if manning was on our team we will still suck why, bad drafting bad FA chocies and bad coaching. A QB cant do anything without a Coach(little Bill with brady) or Wr to throw the ball to(WAyne Harrison Stockley on the colts)

stop blowing hot air

10 years ago? When we won the Super Bowl? We made the playoffs in 95,96,98, and 99. Payton hadn't won a playoff game until Tony Dungy came to the Colts. There are handfuls of quarterbacks that would have done fine if it had not been for the teams they played for. The Quarterback reflects the team, and takes all the glory/criticism. I honestly think it's hillarious how bad Bledsoe had been thought of by Bills fans. When he was the thing keeping that offense afloat, those guys deserve Losman.

10 years was a bit far! Let's change that to 5 shall we? ok good!

Bledsoe keeping our offense afloat?

Dear lord man ...have you seen a Buffalo game the last 2 years? Interceptions, fumbles, unhappy teammates, angry fans, disappointed coaches...I point my finger at him for making me watch that crap.

You just wait ...I'll quote your coach. "You are what you are".

Bledsoe aint gonna change kids.

And i point my finger at you for not seeeing that your team sucks, funny how with as bad as you making him seem we're the ones with the winning record, and you cant say it's because of your D, because our D is horrid right now, your team just cant score points, and yet our team can and JJ hasnt even cracked 100. Stop crying about the fact your team sucks, and it always has sucked, and win it does do good it chokes time after time after time after time.....4 to be exact

Your team lost because they let playmakers go and the OL sucked. I don't care who your are if you cant protect your quarterback every bad thing you listed will happen. I remember the game last year our DL wasn't that good and we were mauling Bledsoe with in 3 secs. Can you not see that? Look at the stats Bledsoe is having so far why do you think that is happening? Because he has a OL giving him time.

Alright, five years ago we had bad players everywhere. Not just QB. A good Quarterback would have been killed behind our crappy o-line, not to mention getting to hand of to a very old Emmit Smith, or Hambrick.
I watched a few games. Bledsoe threw INTs but he threw more touchdowns. And he probably would have fumbled less if he were given better protection, and had some recievers that could get open. I wonder many Buffalo fans actually place so much emphasis on the importance of a quarterback. Maybe that's why they started to hate him. Because he could never come in and be their messiah. No QB can change a team from bad to good. You wonder why in his pro bowl season in 2002 you guys just went 8-8? You wonder why Archie Manning never had a winning season? And as long as we can have a good player, like Bledsoe, back there we'll do fine.

You could say this about every great quarterback.

Troy Aikman had more talent around him than Brady.

Joe Montana sure as hell had a lot more talent around him than Brady.

John Elway had a helluva lot more talent around him when he won his two Super Bowls than Brady.

Brett Favre had more talent around him when he won his Super Bowl.

Roger had more talent around him.

Get the point?

Let's not downgrade Brady because he has proven that he is one of the best of all time. Period.

He is a better quarterback than Vick.

He is a better quarterback than Manning.

He is a better quarterback than McNabb.

He is the best overall quarterback in the league right now. When the above mentioned quarterbacks earn a ring, then people will be able to argue for them. So far all they've done is choke or lay an egg.

The won thing I can say is he may be the only HOF player that has only appeared in one Pro Bowl.

I don't think Brady loses sleep at night because of it. I'm sure his three Super Bowl rings and his Super Bowl MVP awards are enough for him.

Sure as hell would be enough for me.

Oh, as far as Quarterbacks go he's perfect. He's smart, doesn't make mistakes, and is priceless in the clutch. He just isn't very flashy.
