Bledsoe keeping our offense afloat?

Dear lord man ...have you seen a Buffalo game the last 2 years? Interceptions, fumbles, unhappy teammates, angry fans, disappointed coaches...I point my finger at him for making me watch that crap.

Sorry to get in on this so late, but just to make a point... I seem to remember last year the Bills being 1-5 to start the season. I remember cause we had their draft pick. I was like, "Alright, top 10 pick..." Wouldn't you know they go 8-2 in the last 10. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Bledsoe was QB, McGahee began to get starts roughly around this time, and the D was playing great. He showed he could play with a good surrounding cast. Buffalo didn't give him a chance.

Alright you're 2-1. You guys are sippin the cool aid right now but i'll be back in a couple of weeks to see if Drew is still getting the love around here.

Bledsoe is the best QB we've had since Aikman.

I think he's doing a great job keeping us in games and making things happen in the 4th quarter. I could care less about his past at this point and I'm sure he feels the same. We've got two young guns waiting in the wings, so he BETTER keep making plays. He's got the arm, the experience and more importantly, he's got something to prove to everyone. I think he's a gamer and far from the statue people make him out to be.

This game is definitely huge as I stated in another thread. If we are truly a contender (12-4 type of team) we take this one, even if its another gut wrencher that comes done to the final minutes. But if we are merely a wildcard type of team (9 or 10 wins) then we probably find a way to lose.

All I know is we can't keep relying on Bledsoe to carry the offense, sooner or later the defense needs to step to the plate and dominate....personally I'm still waiting for JJ to have a huge game, it could happen this week.

i havent nor did lose any cool, your team sucked bottom line, Bledsoe played for a pooor team, so guess what he's gonna be poor. If the bills were sogreat and awseme then how is that in 2002(as some poster nicely remnded me) when Bledsoe had his probowl year you went 8-8. How is it when you finally decied to stop teams for putting 6 DB out there against the pass, by having a runner who could run you flew to 9-7. Bottom line Bledsoe wasnt the problem in Buffalo the team was. And all ya'll did was blame everything on him. Was he perfect no. Did he make mistakes yes. Was it all his falt heck no. And now that he's over here on a better team, they few mistakes he does make gets overlooked by the comebacks and acheivments he has done.

He was the missing piece of the puzzle ..

Cripes if you put him on the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills ... You have a Superbowl contender.

It's what every franchise must have in order to be a contender. A big time QB. (Unless you have an ungodly defense like the Ravens, Bears teams of years ago). Why has these teams struggled so much roughly in the last 10 years? They don't have that franchise QB. The Eagles became good once they drafted McNabb, Colts on Manning....

Our teams have been searching for years and until we find one were just going to be pretenders. Were kidding ourselves if we think otherwise.

As far as the Bledsoe being as good as Brady comparison maybe you've been into the booze a bit tonight man ... Brady has poise, pocket presence, good decision making skills and he's a winner. All things that our friend Drew Bledsoe does not have, and sadly he never will.

I think most quarterbacks can have poise and pocket presence in the situation he's in. If he was on the Washington Commanders he would be touted one of the worst QB's in the league. If he was on the Dallas Cowboys he'd be having the success Drew Bledsoe is having. To say a quarterback can come in and singlehandedly make a team a superbowl contender shows just how ignorant about the entire game you are. The quarterback is the most dependent position on the football field. You can't just stick peyton manning into any offense and tell him to throw for 49 touchdowns I know in your fantasy world you would like that to be true. You can't put tom brady on the Commanders and say hey get us deep into the playoffs. It doesn't work like that and people who think that way I have no respect for their opinion.
