He is the guy I want Eddie. Which means he won't be coming.

He wins with an owner who does not retain free agents. I think with an organization like Dallas he could be the absolute best.

But I want him, so it will never happen.

What do you mean why??? Did you see what he did in Pittsburgh over the last 15 years, not to mention the way all of his players play for him.

He also has a Lombardi.

But hey...lets just stick with what we have and what we do. 9-7 season after 9-7 season and one and done in the playoffs.

Woohoo.

That might do it for you, but I'd rather be watching the Cowboys in the NFC Championship instead of trying to choose what Sunday afternoon movie I want to watch.

Guess it is just me.

I dont see Cowher coming back this year. Maybe next or after, just not this year.

After being with the Steelers for so long, it would be a whole new game in Dallas. The teams are run completely differently. Would be a great pick-up, but it doesnt seem likely to me.

I don't buy Cowher this year here, just because I doubt we give up the top pick(s) required.

I would trade my first round pick in a heartbeat for Cowher.
What would you rather have Cowher or another Bobby Carpenter??? A great head coach means more to an orgamization than a 21st first round choice, not a doubt in my mind.

Would you trade Carpenter, Ware, Fassano, and Hatcher for Cowher?

1 Super Bowl ring. 15 years.
Tony Dungy .. 5 years .. first super bowl appearance with Peyton Manning as his quarterback.

Look, at this point, I'd take 4 championship game losses over what the Cowboys have endured the last 11 years.

Derinyar, that is not even fair, who says you`ve got to trade 4 players like that, we are talking about two picks at the most not four.

Look at the Gruden trade. 2 1sts, 2 nds and a 3rd iirc. It could very well cost more than 2 day one picks. I'd bet it would.
