Bill's just pissed that Jerry refused to sign Vinny Testaverde or Steve DeBerg to a 10 year, $80 billion deal this off-season.

The NFL is a socialistic enterprise. Because money is shared more or less evenly, every coach, player, and scout is technically an employee of the league. So instead of obsessing on semantics, I suggest you answer the question: was Bill invited or not?
Either way, to answer your original question, no, I would not feel compelled to attend an event my boss "invited" me to, especially if it occurred during my vacation.

If your boss/employer asked you attend an important event, wouldn't you show up? You bet you would. Not Bill. He's above it all.

Long time ago, I was asked, as well as our entire group was, to go to a company event. I didn't go. When my review came up...I got the best raise, and promotion I ever received...
Oh, and this event just so happened where BP is. In Jupiter, FL. Where I lived for 14 years. and still have my place there, guess I should go check on Bill huh?:D

well I guess that makes you an idiot. Last time I checked Parcells took Campo's scraps and took them to the playoffs.

then built his own team and hasn't been back since. you're right, he sucks as a talent evaluator also. : )

Maybe just maybe Parcells is doing more than hiding. Perhaps he's spending his time talking to coaches who aren't currently in the NFL or maybe even in other sports about dealing with headcase players. ;) ;)

Does he still have time to jump on Jerry's plane and make it for the group photo?
