Is anyone else concerned that if Bill is canned or leaves, whatever... that Norv Turner could be our next HC?

Jerry's dumb *** still likes Norv. That would be my worst nightmare and knowing Jerry, it is possible.

There is a significant fan base who thinks Parcells is overrated. This same fan base was saying Mike Holmgren is overrated and won in Green Bay due to Andy Reid and the other coordinators. When we signed Dallas, I was excited but I remember the comments made by Jets fans who said Parcells rode Bellichek's(sp) coat tails. I didn't know enough about Parcells at the time but I thought that notion was ridiculous. Since Parcells has been in Dallas, I thought he has done wonders with what little talent we have. And yes, I think he was responsible for our lack of talent on the team.

At the same time, our defense doesn't resemble anything close to what he had with the Giants, Patriots and Jets. I don't see the clever schemes and the defensive dominance he had with those other teams. Initially, I thought the theory was ridiculous but I'm beginning to realize those cynics were right.

Good point. It would be almost fitting - a cruel irony to the vocal tuna bashers too - to get a putz like Norv in here again. Then JJ can trade away all our #1s for horrible old players. 5-11 would be a reality again. They can sell Cowboy pacifiers for adults.

Maybe then, and only then, the Tuna haters might realize what they have here.
