Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl... People win the mega millions lottery.. Lightening has struck the same person twice.. Just cause those things happened, youd be a fool to bet on it.

Aikman was drafted by the worst NFL team in 1989 that went 1-15.

Emmitt Smith was not on the team yet. The Cowboys did not have the #1 D yet. The Great Wall of Dallas did not exist.

You claim you are 52 years old and I am 45 and witnessed all of this.

Something about you does not make sense.

The 1991 Cowboys gave up 11 sacks in one game.

The 1992 Cowboys got beat convincingly by the Eagles early in that season as well.

By the end of the 1992 season; the Cowboys were the best team in football.

That's right...during Aikman's 4th year. Emmitt's 3rd year and all of the studs were already on the team by 1992, thus why they won their 1st of 3 SBs that 1992 season. That Herschel Walker trade towards the end of Troy's rookie year in '89 made the whole difference for the team of the early-to-mid 90s.

And how did Aikman play against the Eagles, 49ers, and Bills in the 1992 playoffs?

Yes, with the best weapons, backups and coaches that money could buy!!!

Are you intentionally forgetting that?
Money did not buy those players.

Walker trade, Plan B free agent pick ups like Jay Novacek, and Haley trade.

Irvin was drafted in 1988, Aikman in 1989, and Emmitt in 1990.

Are you sure you are 52 instead of 32 years old?

You did your part! Facts don’t matter. He’s comparing 2 playoff win Dak blessed with 7 years of pre ordered talent with a HOF QB who had to start with zero. Guy showed his reality and motive. He’s a Dak guy,…not a Cowboy guy. Fraud. Just put on ignore. It’s in every thread. Unfortunately even when ignored half the threads involve responses to him with infatuation to Dak.

There was no cap yet in place. The first salary cap didn't start until the 1994 season. That helped Jerry afford assemble the best roster which helped him win back-to-back SBs in '92 & '93. Once the salary cap kicked in in '94, the team started losing starters, hence they didn't reach the SB in '94 but won their final SB in '95. After that, it was the end of the 90s championship team thanks to a salary cap which Jerry foolishly pushed hard for. We've never sniffed another SB or even an NFC Championship Game ever since.

Sounds like you are the one who isn't old enough to remember what happened and why back in the 90s.

The Cowboys lost in 1994 because the 49ers went on a spending spree signing Deion Sanders, Ken Norton Jr, Richard Dent, Charles Mann, Gary Plummer, and others to beat the Cowboys; the Cowboys were never as dominate as they were in 1993 because they were coached by Barry Switzer instead of Jimmy Johnson; Erik Williams their most dominant OLineman suffered a season ending car crash

Cowboys were already starting to lose key starters in '94. '95 was their last hurrah thanks to the salary cap.

I agree with BP as usual. We threw it 556 times and ran it 531 last season. We need above 50% rushing and we need an OC with a better balance, scheme and feel for the game.
Dak should be treated like Cooper Rush and protected from himself. Beef up the interior OL and DL (D. Payne, J. Hargrave) this offseason. Cut Zeke and pair an insider runner with Pollard.
So your gonna run more than pass with the horrid zeke being featured? Lol

yah ok bill.

Aikman described how the 1994 Cowboys were not as good as the 1993 Cowboys.

How the 1995 Cowboys were not as good as the 1994 Cowboys… and this slide continued mainly due to Jimmy Johnson’s exit and the coaching style of Barry Switzer

Aikman is right, but he's also leaving out how each year the team kept losing key starters that made that 1993 so great. That had to do because of the implementation of the salary cap that went into effect in 1994.

I do not know how anyone could arrive anywhere but that Moore's play-calling was iffy. And in win or go home games, he's just simply failed.
I agree but I doubt Moore told Dak to throw an interception. The chemistry with Dak and his receivers is off. Wilson and Cooper should have never been let go.
