We all knew the defense was going to give up points, the Bills have a good offense, but the bigger issue for me was the personal fouls that extended drives. You can't give good teams extra possessions.

The offense is the real concern, Dak was a bit rattled and struggling to find open receivers vs their zone, hopefully, they will adjust but the offense has to sustain drives and convert on third downs. They ran the ball early so it wasn't like they were in third and long most of the time either.

I will say I am sick of all the ticky-tack-holding calls we seem to get that other teams don't. That iffy personal foul on Tank, followed by the joke of a holding penalty on our next drive changed the momentum. Add in another boneheaded play by Sam Williams and it was lights out.

Williams is becoming the next smoker, making crazy penalties at the wrong time guy.

See where you are going but what I am saying, if a team now in today era is built starting from the trenches and working out, surely remember the 90’s like the niners GM. You never start building a team from the outside working inwards. Trenches are your base and foundation. Jimmy sure knew this.
That's all well and good I'll give it to you that the 49ers are one of the better teams in the league but they've had a longer drought of actually winning a Super Bowl than we have let's keep it in perspective yes they've got to some championship games and they've got to some Super Bowls but they still haven't won one in quite a long time.... I mean those trenches did not help the third string quarterback last year needed a Christian McCaffrey and any of those big time players soon as the quarterback went down seemed to be over he gave the Eagles an easy path to the Super bowl so again I'm glad you see where I'm going I'm going to add to it yes they've done it the right way but it still hadn't got them anything at this point.....

In fact most of the teams that have the more modern day offenses and their defenses are built to try to stop those offenses like Kansas City are the ones winning the Super bowls lately.... But I do agree the trenches are important but it's not like we ignored it literally bring in offensive and defensive lineman all the time it literally injuries and sickness I mean we're overreacting to one game in which we're missing a lot of players so far this year some big time players are gone there was some missing just for this game some went out in the game and we were sick on the road after back-to-back hard fought games against the Seahawks and the Eagles sometimes the game like this is gonna happen just got our ***** kicked...

When will this team learn from someone who set out the blueprint on how to build a Championship calibre team. On DEF, particularly come December you have to be able to stop the run. To do this you need a physicality amongst your DEF. Bigger and nastier is better. The smaller, faster alternative is broken , it doesn't last for a whole season.

First rule, you have to be able to stop the run and run the ball. If you can't do that the rest is irrelevant.

We need coaches and ownership to understand this basic philosophy. Bill Parcells taught us this and he was right.
He also said that the culture he instilled would be gone.

Not only Parcells. See Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson say it. All HOF Head Coaches that Jerry Dumbo GM Jones fired or ran off.

They traded for Hanskins and drafted Mazi. They know what they need to do. Problem is there are certain players not doing their job and it’s resulting in bar play.
Even so, they haven't really accepted the "commitment" that needs to be made to being able to play smash mouth football. Investment in players, scheme & attitude. That kind of commitment.

Hard for me to give them a lot of credit for Mazi as I never thought he should have been in the conversation as valid pick that early in the draft.

I mean we can argue against their personnel decisions. I personally appreciated the effort. I still think Mazi was the right pick I never thought he was going to be a contributor this early. Like I said earlier I don’t think they brought in guys who suck against the run. I think ultimately Clark, Parsons, Bell and the safeties have to do better because this is who we have.

What Dallas actually needed to be able to do is pass the ball. They could not, and consequently could not force Buffalo's defense to back off. When Dallas poses no downfield passing threat, it's easy for opposing defenses to take away the run.

Likewise, if Dallas is able to pass effectively and score points, then the opposing offense cannot simply run all day. They are forced to pass, and that works in Dallas's favor, given the construction of its defense.

So how close have we gotten to even SNIFFING a SB?
The continual excuses for the failure of the management of this team is sickening

The Cowboys would have lost yesterdays game at home. It didn't matter where it was at or weather conditions. The outcome would have ben the same.
There is no way to know that. Big difference between playing at home and on the road.

Well we drafted Mazi, pick just didn’t pan out yet.
And I’m not sure he’ll ever be what we want him to be. Not to say he won’t be great, but didn’t the college tape say he wasn’t the traditional guy his size that takes on a ton of double teams?

Agree whereas the Niners are built like our 90’s teams and you would think Jed would never forget those days, they led to you winning your last trophies you have in that case.
lol I remember when this board was mad that the Cowboys were built too much like their 90s teams and they needed to adapt.

Y’all just lurch from convenient complaint to convenient complaint.

They understand. They traded for Hankins and drafted Mazi in the 1st round. Mazi is still learning. But they obviously should’ve done more.
