Bill Polian on Zeke

ESPN's crew is just lame and Dilfer is not a good pre-game guy at all but I do enjoy his analysis.

NFL Network is the best IMO.

They got rid of Warren Sapp and they have hid Jamie Dukes so well that we he goes unnoticed.

I really enjoy the gameday crew. Even Marshall Faulk.

I also like the Fox pre-game.

ESPN would be better off letting their Fantasy football crew do their actual NFL games and get the Bermans of the world out of there. Freshen it up.

Jamie Dukes sucks, but he's better than LT or Deion.

I thought that clown was gone ever since he got busted trying to get a Hooker for free at the last Super Bowl. Maybe I'm mininformed.

Zeke would likely be less successful than he is now if Romo was the QB, which is probably one of the reasons that factored into Cowboys decision to go with Prescott. Romo's lack of mobility is a liability that limits the options available to the offense. We have seen during the last 2 games just how valuable Dak's runs can be. Those runs force the defense to play honest instead of just crashing down on Zeke. Dak's presence causing a slight hesitation to the defense can make a huge difference with a player as talented as Zeke, as the announcers pointed out during the Vikings game.

You can't run Cover 3 all crowded up in the box with 8 to 9 players. That leaves single man outside on at least one side. They can't drop off fast enough to double a wideout.

If the offense is running 3 wide sure. But you can run Cover 3 against any offensive formation. Usually it'll be a run/pass read and they'll either drop into zone or load the box. Against us, if they're running cover 3 and we only trot out 2 wide, their first read is going to be run with the extra zone defender playing outside contain and the safety coming into the box.

Ohio State should be thrilled Zeke didn't go with Dak to MSU.

Thrilled.

Zeke is the MVP, and its not close, doesn't matter either way though.

I think teams have figured out Dak, stop Zeke and play the playaction. Double Dez and we have trouble moving the ball
Really? I guess that is why Dallas has won 11 straight, and the best defenses in the NFL can't stop them!! Please!!!

You can't play Cover 3 with 8 or 9 in the box.

FS high and the corners are the other of the 2 deep zones. You can also drop out of the box as well.

Teams barely ever have 9 in the box anyway outside of the RZ where it is moot.

This is an odd conversation. In Cover 3, you're actually bringing a safety nearer the LOS. It's a "natural" eighth man in the box.

Weather underground is calling for 39-41 degrees during the game. If the Giants front 7 is banged up, Zeke might go for a career high in yards. Coming from Ohio State, he's used to running in cold weather. Ground and pound them to death.

Yes, it's crucial that we feed Zeke in this game.

I agree. I love Dak but the MVP right now is Zeke. If it was Dak with last year's RB by committee, I don't think we are where we are right now.

The good thing is, they aren't even near where they will end up peaking at. Especially Dak. I think Dak will be much better starting next season in many phases.
