Thats a lot of come from behind games. Sounds like he is losing in the fourth quarter far too often.

That in and of itself does not mean much. Montana, Staubach and Elway all had their share of comebacks. I'm not, repeat, not saying Bledsoe is on the same level as these 3 but lets not spin his come from behind victories as something negative.

I think making it to the second round of the play-offs is a little delusional after yesterday's performance. From what I could bare to watch, he was pretty awful. So far we're 2 and 2.. That's not a wildcard.

You can;t judge a season by four games.

At any rate, I'm talking of his ceiling, or top end potential this year.

I think we need to find out if Romo can do better than Bledsoe in a game situation. I suspect he can. If he can't, we need/have to draft a quarterback next year....

Drafting a quarterback... That's a novel idea!

I think we draft a QB next year and sign a Dilfer-type vet to backup Romo.
Bledsoe will be released at the end of the year IMO.

Here´s what I don´t understand, some people say "Bledsoe this year and Romo will be ready for next", why would he be ready for next year and not this one, he is 26 and has been in this sistem for more than 3 years, how much more can he learn sitting in the bench.

Some people say its too soon this year, but almost all agree that Bledsoe should be gone by next year, so why put up with him this year if he is not a good QB, it´s not like Romo would be replacing Troy in his prime.

Bledsoe, this year, is one of the worst starting QB´s in the league, and that isn´t even debatable, so why the hesitation, why the fear.

I absolutely love the cowboys and have been a fan since ´81 (the catch, sorry to bring that up), and it would absolutely kill me if Bledsoe continues to play like this and Parcells sticks with him.

We need to find out what we have in Romo and in the process maybe save the season.

Well, I thi8nk Bledsoe can get us to 10-11 wins this year still and a playoff berth. We have had worse fates. Romo may or may not perform better, but as long as we are in contention Bledsoe's the man

It's Romo's team in 07

Good point. I didn't see that game. All I know is I saw Drew holding the ball way to long against a Philly team that everybody and their momma knows is blitz crazy. What is that all about?

And yes, everybody makes mistakes ... but you/we/a team must have solid QB play ... or we don't have a chance in 4 H E double hockey sticks.

I just watched the game again. I think he had a miserable game with a couple horrible INTs, but I don't think he held the ball too long more than twice. There was no "too long" available. On several plays you couldn't count two seconds before there was an unblocked man up the middle.
I was specifically looking for whether TO was getting open or not, and more than often he pretty much wasn't.

I think this is Drew and Tuna's last year. I also think it's the best chance for a postseason for a couple years, so just buckle up and ride it out.

Yeah, but remember two years ago, we were still in contention until the last game of the year despite Vinnie trying his hardest to lose games and even though everybody knew we were not going anywhere with him at QB, Parcells said that Vinnie gave us the best chance to win, when in reality my uncle Tommy, who is dead by the way, would have done a better job.

I feel we are headed to the same situation this year and that was the most frustating season in the 25 years I have been following the cowboys.

I dont think we finish 6-10 mainly cause our D was horrid that year and we have better offensive personnel.

Totally agree, we have a playoff team, I just don´t think we have a playoff QB, hopefully i´m wrong.

You have access to the coaches film? You can't tell much about the wr's getting open watching the tv broadcast except for the few occassions when they show certain angles.

I think this about says all that needs to be said.

And gals and guys, if Romo doesn't pan out, we are screwed.

He must have missed:

The last play before the half when Drew took the sack. He had plenty of time to throw the ball. It doesn't matter if he completes it, if it's intercepted or whatever. It's the last play of the half. Throw the freaking ball!!!!!

The last 2 minutes of the game. We just made a miraculous 4th & 2. We're across the fifty and Drew gives up at least 10 yards on a sack with 3 guys rushing.

He gives up another sack with 3 guys rushing.

The balls he threw in the dirt with no pass rush.

All QBs don't fold under duress. Some do, not all.

And he sits there with a straight face and say Drew's mistakes were due to the lack of protection and guys being on top of him before he was able to set up? Bill is full of crap.

This will happen again. He threw Patrick under the bus. (It's his first year.) He couldn't wait to end the PC and head to the mall and buy Drew a gift. Well at least he stood up for Roy too. I guess I'll give him credit for that.

gee. you'd think a decent O-line could handle a 3-man front.

the problem goes way past drew bledsoe.

BP problem is he is too personally attached to his former players. If this was Romo throwing all these INTS he wouldn't be as quiet as he is now.

This guy is a 14 year vet. I don't get how he can still be making rookie decisions.

ive heard say that if you give bledsoe time he can hurt you, id say that goes for just about any qb, so if bledsoe cant handle the pressure i think its time for a change, i like bledsoe, but i think from here on , teams will try to mask what the eagles def did putting pressure in bledsoes face, and he just cant handle it and they havent been calling any plays that would slow down the blitz, screen draws roll outs, do something, dont just call for a 3 step drop pass and expect 5 olinmen to stop 7 rushers. if they could've just made a couple or 3 plays that pay the eagles pay dearly, the outcome would've been much different thats my 2 cents

Tom Brady I believe has 20 4th quarter come backs in his 5 years as an NFL starter (Bledsoe has 33 in 12). Using your logic, Brady sucks, which we know is not true. So let's not blame Bledsoe for leading his team to victory at the nd of a game. He did so 5 times for us last year (KC, CAR, SF, SD, NYG). Was it his fault we were losing in the 4th Q in all those games? Nope.

Give Bledsoe 5 pro bowl linemen, and 3 pro bowl WR, and a pro bowl TE and a pro bowl rb, and we will still make excuses for Bledsoe. Bottom line, special players make special plays when they need to.

Ware came thru in a big game. He's special.
