Tom Brady I believe has 20 4th quarter come backs in his 5 years as an NFL starter (Bledsoe has 33 in 12). Using your logic, Brady sucks, which we know is not true. So let's not blame Bledsoe for leading his team to victory at the nd of a game. He did so 5 times for us last year (KC, CAR, SF, SD, NYG). Was it his fault we were losing in the 4th Q in all those games? Nope.

Are we talking about the same Tom Brady without superstar WRs and without and resemblance of an upper echelon RB until a rookie came along this year ? So that explains that.

As far as how many comebacks Drew had last year... again, I would have to look up the game tracker or stats by quarter. How many were his fault ? Solid RB, Solid TE, Solid WRs, decent defense, I guess you will blame it on the OL...

Drew makes decent-average OLs look bad, PERIOD.

#1 - Tom Brady has had Corey Dillon since 2004. Dillon, by the way, set the Patriots SINGLE SEASON RUSHING RECORD in 2004. And in 2001, Antwain Smith was better than the "running backs" known as Terry Allen and Kevin Faulk that Bledsoe had in his previous years. So tell me what you were trying to 'splain again?!? (And please don't turn this into a Bledsoe/Brady argument because I have disproven your point. You're the one who said a QB leading 4th Q game winning drives meant a QB hadn't played well enough to win in the preceeding quarters. I was just pointing out the flaw in your logic.)

#2 - Ok, I'll do the work for you, here are Drew's stats from the 5 games in which he led clutch game-winning drives last year:

Opp Score QBRat Comp Att Yds Y/A TD INT
SD 28-24 143.3 18 24 226 9.4 3 0
SF 34-31 90.1 24 38 363 9.6 2 2
NYG 16-13 93.5 26 37 312 8.4 1 1
KC 31-28 126.1 22 34 332 9.8 3 0
CAR 24-20 90.7 15 23 209 9.1 1 1

Looks like above average numbers to me. But go ahead and blame Bledsoe for not leading his team to a bunch of points in the first 30 minutes of a game. After all, its always Bledsoe's fault!

#3 - I give Bledsoe plenty of blame for Sunday's loss. But when you say he makes "decent-average OLs look bad" I shake my head at you. Last year, when he had Flozell on the line:

100.36 QB Rating
63.3 Completion Percentage
11 TDs, 4 INTs
1,663 yards (277 per game!)
13 sacks
3 of his 5 game winning drives in the waning minutes (or OT)

Bledsoe finished the season with an 83.7 rating, 23 TDs, 17 INTs, and 49 sacks.

I think the sacks tell the story. He was on pace to have 35 with Flo on the line. He wound up with 14 more.

So I'd say he made that average-decent line appear like they were our line from the mid-90s, which they ain't, and sure as heck weren't yesterday.

Some of you guys continue to live in denial even with a track record that goes all the way back to when God spoke to Moses.

Okay - continue to live in denial and repeat this to yourself, "Bledsoe will bring us the championship...if not this year, next year for sure!"

Geez-us, Martha!
