Maybe not, but collectively, that’s a good OL. Want a guarantee? Buy a toaster. I notice you didn’t offer a better alternative.

You only seem to want to disparage the Cowboys. And argue.
You make a lot of assumptions. Not sure how to improve the oline but I know it needs to be prioritized

I agree there. OG in the first or second! Start the season with Tyron, Tyler, Badass, Martin, Steele. When Tyron gets hurt, slide Tyler to LT and insert new LG.

The league does though. The Bills believe he's an upgrade. I haven't heard details but I'm sure he had others interested in his services as well.
When you say "the league does", that's just false. They thought he was worth less or they would have been offering the same.
The person who wins open bidding is the one who offers *the most*, the extreme outlier of all bidders. That's why free agency is such a bad deal. The outlier wins.

Every year we have guys leave in free agency. Players we've watched for years. Every year it's predominantly for contracts I don't want us to match at the time and am happy in retrospect that we didn't match. And most here feel the same.

You'd be ok with us giving McGovern that contract?

If you made a poll here, what percentage do you think would wish that we had signed McGovern for that money?

I'd be surprised if it's over 10%.

Tyron and Steele are injury concerns
IMO, Steele is more of a recovery concern than an ongoing injury concern.

Tyron, well, yeah.

While it does seem like his neck and back have improved over time, he has been breaking down a lot for other things. And he really didn't look that good when he came back last year either.

Luv me sum Tyron, but he's probably both an injury and performance concern. All Pro upside, but also a reasonable chance that his play has dropped off and he won't get close to that upside again. At some point players wear down. Could be that has happened to him.

Poll on the Zone? Sure, the majority would & have said he was a bum. I'm saying the majority of vocal critics are wrong.

I said before FA began he would be in the $6-8m range. To get a young, athletic G that can play on either side and also possibly play center it seems like market value.

Sure, FA can lead to bad contracts but teams do their homework. Clearly Buffalo thinks he's an upgrade and were willing to give him the 3rd highest total, AAV & guaranteed. $3m more guaranteed than the next highest. We'll see how it works out.

Unless we draft a stud, I'm guessing our LG position will be downgraded. I have always liked Farniok though so maybe he's ready to step up.

There are some in here who self-castrated over losing former third round pick Chaz Green and he was the Sultan of Suck on the offensive line.
Players and coaches mostly ALL suck while they’re here. When they go elsewhere, they become Pro Bowlers!
