And you're completely right in noting the facts as they stand today. My post wasn't pointing at any one in particular. But I've seen alot of crowing on this board about Losman's struggles, myself included.
Losman has looked bad up to this point, but it doesn't mean it'll last forever. Bledsoe looks good up to this point, but many folks on this board who have watched Bledsoe when he was with the Bills know that this prosperity may not last. Hope it does, but it's not guaranteed.
My thoughts are just wait and let the season play itself out before jumping to conclusions. The proof will be in the W-L column.
WG,
I agree with the end of season talley. And your right - nothing is guaranteed. I'm very neutral on Losman. I could care less, until he plays us. I just posted the article for all the Buffalo fans that came here to crow and laugh about Bledsoe. As for Bledsoe, he's the perfect storm for this team. All the items he needs to be successful are here:
1. Good RB - Check
2. Very Good protection - Check - thus far
3. Good TE - Check
4. A deep threat - Check (and we have recourse with Peerless)
5. A good possession WR - Check (again more recourse with Crayton)
On second thought, we as a team have all the items needed to field a good offense. Bledsoe has been good, but he has a very good cast around him.
I think Drew will have a good season. Not b/c he is great, just b/c the team around him will allow him to be good. He does not have to be great. We have a good offensive cast this year.
