Coaching - Play calling Thats it.


I've never seen a team take a beating like the redkins took until the playcalling went haywire.

How important was that timeout they took right before they handed the ball to the rookie running back to settle for a field goal?


4 minutes left and you are up by 13 points and you are running pass plays on first and second down??????????????

Exactly. Total BS. And this after running a CONSERVATIVE game plan the whole night long. Then giving up a 4th and 15 and going to man to man single coverage with your slowest cover guy on their faster receiver. Garbage.

lost this game. We are a stupid team. We lost this game in the 1st quarter we were to conservative.


We played too loose! This team will not be good again until we draft a QB.

We only scored 3 point in the 2nd half. That is not a winning formula.

JJ looked as if he could fire Bill on the spot.

I guess the deadskins finally deserved a payback.

This one is hard to swallow. We beat them, the coaches stopped coaching before the final whistle.

I can take getting beat by a better team, but this wasn't the case.

We should have scored 24 points on them.

I usually don't say much about play calling but that was the worst that I have ever seen. For play calling to stick out like that is simply unbelievable. Now I don't know if it's play calling or Drew's fault but on the second to last time that Dallas had the ball. How can Drew not even look in Keys directions? Last year Julius had great results with delay handoffs yet I don't remember any being called.

We beat ourselves. Our stupid playcalling allowed them to get the ball. Then our stupid defensive coverage allows somebody to get deep not once but twice!!!

The worst call of the game was on the play right before the 2 minute warning. Julius runs for 6 yards on 1st and 10. The right thing to do was to go to the sidelines on the 2 minute warning and discuss what play was going to be runned on a 2nd and 4 after the 2 minutes warning time out. Instead, some idiot ( be it Parcells or Payton ) decides to call a passing play that turned into an incomplete because the offense was trying to hurry.

Stupid playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Sitting on a 13 point lead is beyond DUMB!!! What a MEATHEAD!!!

The refs and their 2 ghost holding calls on Adams hurt alot but these are reasons why you do not sit on 13 point leads. To many things can go wrong with that small of a lead.

I can not believe I am gonna say Peyton called a much dumber game then Zimmer. Zimmer and the D did their job of only giving up 14 points. When you hold a team to 14 points you should win.

Blame Peyton and maybe even Parcells for playing not to lose.

Yeah, the play callling in the 4th was awful. He tried to get too fancy. Run the ball, run the clock, win the game. It's THAT SIMPLE.

Or call a run to the left. That will net you at least 2 yards leaving 3rd and 2. Awful, awful call.

The sad part is, we had PLENTY of time. 2 timeouts PLUS the 2 minute warning. WHY RUSH THAT PLAY? UGH!!!!

We tried to get cute. We keep it simple and we convert that into a first down. That game was completely lopsided. They are not a good team and there's no reason to respect them next time.

Now all the TD's we scored in San Diego looks suspect, especially seeing what Denver did to them. I think this offense is really gonna suck this year. Julius isn't going to have a chance because teams will gang up like tonight, and Bledsoe won't do anything about it.

only thing worse than Payton was Zimmer...at least Payton has only scrwed up one game...Zimmer has been coordinating defenses that have blown 2nd half leads for years
