Very few teams use the screen pass anymore, but if the Cowboys did, they would screw it up royally too.

We gave up on the run when there was no reason to and gave up our chance to control the tempo and keep their offense off the field. The Commanders meanwhile stuck with the run - a no-brainer game-plan on a crappy field like that - and had the success we forfeited.
Look, I like Garrett - but as the head coach, not coordinator. We need Norv Turner in here bad. If we had him calling plays tonight we'd be celebrating a victory and awarding the game ball to Demarco Murray.

Does Garrett not have any screen passes in his playbook or is there some limitation of the talent on this team that prevents him from calling those plays?

This futile clinging to the 90's is holding this team back desperately. From sticking with clown Campo too long, to hiring the backup QB as coach to some pipe dream that Norv turner can straighten out the backup QBs mess. Its over, move on.
