Everyone knew it was a matter of time except the Jones boys apparently. Just another example of these two clowns not having a clue how to manage a football team. And we wonder why it’s 26 years and counting, not from bad luck but from the stupidity of the Jones boys and their egos.

Of course. The front office is a cluster ***** of incompetence but at least they make money! That’s what it’s all about.

Stephen doesn't listen to comment board clowns. He could care less what anyone here or anyone in the media has to say. They are Pros and we are Joes.

They are only “pros” as you say because they have money. They are pros at making money not running a winning football organization don’t get it twisted. How much more proof do you need?

Anyone else want to come on and tell us how Tyron isn't an injury risk and we don't need to prepare for him missing games? It's like clockwork and there was no chance he was playing 17 games. None. Shame on this team for not being prepared for him missing time. Some teams are prepared for all scenarios. We just react as if we are shocked things don't happen exactly the way we hoped

Yup. Shoulda traded him a couple years ago when Seattle and houston were desperate and throwing first round picks around for LTs. I was told I was crazy for wanting to unload a guy like him with such a team friendly contract. Jerry never learned one thing over the last 30 years about being proactive In building a franchise.

If only we had a Chrystal ball...... like you apparently. The problem isn't Tyron. The problem is this organization refuses to address the swing tackle problem. Its been an issue since since the Chaz Green debacle.

Over the past half decade, Tyron has missed an average of 5 games per season, roughly 1/3 of each season. This has been a problem for a long, long, time.

We have been clamouring for months for Dallas to get a dependable swing tackle. Back then there were several that we could have had that could have stepped in if needed.

Now that there are hardly any good swing tackles available we are in a quagmire going in starting the season.

It's beyond me why the FO didn't get a swing tackle when they had the chance. Goes to show how their lack of football IQ and their drive to win. That's a shame to us fans.
Who was available then but not now?

Pros at what? Making money? Certainly not building winning football teams.

They won the division and that's enough for Jerry to keep fans in the stands and the team busting the 8billion dollar value. Business success seems to be enough for Jerry.

They won 12 games and the division. That's plenty for the Jones family.

It's not a debacle until rosters are locked in for week 1. Until then, they have time and the cap space to remedy a significant injury situation. If they do nothing and the OTs can't hold up in real games, then of course they are to blame. Who else could you blame?

Three years back I suggested the Cowboys trade Tyron while they could get something for him. I got lambasted, chastised, castigated and rebuked like I was out of my mind. Don't get me wrong, Tyron is great when healthy, but it was becoming obvious he would miss more and more games. If he makes it back from the hamstring, it will only be a week or two before the back or neck start acting up again.
It's a shame.

Oh well, Woulda, shoulda, coulda is way past now.
He should not be back. High time for us to finally move on.

Jerry wanted to keep his powder dry. Until this minute nothings changed. Very sad day in Cowboys history that we have millions in cap space and sit on our proverbial butts and do nothing about our line.

Shoot may as well transition one of the 100 DL we have to OT....maybe we will hit the jackpot like we did with Tuinei.....

we needed 21 million to give to Diggs

who needs a LT when you can overpay a CB
One year ago:

We needed money to give to WR

who needs a defensive player when you can overpay for offense?

Summary: If you don’t have all-pros at every position, some version of this will be said by fans.

These two clowns think their so smart my not having a dependable swing tackle when there was several in the open market months ago. Now that option is gone we are going to have to overpay for it and possibly give up a high draft pick.

Preaching to the choir!
It's gross negligence by the front office!
