It seems it's the Cowboys vs the Cards if we believe all the rumors. Indianapolis got Gore, so I can't believe they would have much interest now.

Also, it seems that the NFL almost has to reinstate AD at this stage in the process. Whether it's this week or soon thereafter. I'm sure the Vikings want an answer as well so they can make the decisions they need to sooner rather than later.

Just curious, which teams do people see drafting RB early? The teams I would have imagined going RB have already addressed the position via free agency. And if AP goes somewhere, that's another team off the board. Then you have teams like New England that would probably never spend a high pick on RB. I wouldn't be surprised if Gurley and Gordon dropped into the 2nd.

I might be okay with parting our 2nd rounder for him given he takes a big TEXAS size pay cut to come play with us to play for not only a super bowl but to finish off with a strong stamp for a HOF career

lets see....

Cleveland at #12
San Francisco #15
San Diego #17
Cleveland again at #19
Detroit #23
Arizona #24

I think those are all clubs who would entertain an idea of a Gurley(if his medical checks out) or Gordon... but then again who knows...

San Diego at 17 is grabbing a RB because they have nothing in the backfield since losing Mathews to Philly.

No way Gurley makes it to 27 and Gordon is probably gone too......................I think the plan is AP or Coleman

I think Gordon is going to be a bust in this league. He ran through massive holes at Wisconsin. He doesn't have top line speed. He has ok burst, but he likes to do that picturesque half hurdle that looks cool, but isn't going to help in the league. He doesn't make a lot of people miss and he didn't do particularly well against better competition. Yes, he knows zone blocking schemes, but so do our other 3 runners.

To boot, Gordon has fumbling issues, has shown a lack of 3 down grind it out endurance and doesn't have the best hands. His blocking is suspect too.

Watch the film. Take away the gaping holes he ran through and compare him to the other backs. He doesn't stack up in several areas in my opinion.

I hope he plays for Dallas. Looks like he really wants this. Vikings shouldn't make things harder for him and agree on a fair trade. The guy is already around 30 years old and it would be unfair for Vikings to block Peterson's wish. He singlehandedly put Vikings on the map except the Favre years. Yeah as a Giant fan it will suck to see Peterson behind Cowboys' OL but at the same time, I want AD get his final wish and play for his home state team.

Not happen'. Pics 1-3 will be used for either Gurley or another top rb, or for defense. Now way we take back Peterson's high salary.

If he really wants to play for Dallas, he needs to come for very cheap. We can survive without him and this draft is RB heavy so we can get a good option for very little. AP needs us much more than we need him so he'd be insane to demand the moon while crying that it's his dream to play here. Prove it.

Ap to dallas just won't go away. Guy is still on the Vikings. Not reinstated. I get his dream is to play for us but I don't see it happening.

You always seem to have something to say negative about this move. Gurley won't make it to 27 neither will gordon. Just because we get AP doesn't mean we can't draft a rb. I'd trade for him contingent on a pay cut and incentive based contract. Romos window is short a 2 year deal for AP would be great for this teams chances at getting romo a ring

Our only competition is Arizona it seems...............whoever offers the most gets AP.

I would offer a 2nd this year and a 3rd next year that could become a 2nd based on incentives.....................that is more than a fair trade for Minny.
