lets see....

Cleveland at #12
San Francisco #15
San Diego #17
Cleveland again at #19
Detroit #23
Arizona #24

I think those are all clubs who would entertain an idea of a Gurley(if his medical checks out) or Gordon... but then again who knows...

Cle has Crowell and west
San Fran has Hyde

Neither scenario signals a need for rb IMO

we have DMC, Ryan williams( Oxnard All pro running back), and randle...

I think all three teams could upgrade with a talent like gurley at RB

I view AP as a progress stopper. He is a complete 180 of what the team has been doing the last couple of years.

Our only competition is Arizona it seems...............whoever offers the most gets AP.

I would offer a 2nd this year and a 3rd next year that could become a 2nd based on incentives.....................that is more than a fair trade for Minny.

The only real competition is Dallas themselves when it comes down to it. AP will have a say in the move since it's probably contingent on him renegotiating a deal. He can simply refuse to negotiate with AZ if it's his real dream to play for the Cowboys. That's still assuming Minny is going to blink and agree to trade him to begin with.

I hope he plays for Dallas. Looks like he really wants this. Vikings shouldn't make things harder for him and agree on a fair trade. The guy is already around 30 years old and it would be unfair for Vikings to block Peterson's wish. He singlehandedly put Vikings on the map except the Favre years. Yeah as a Giant fan it will suck to see Peterson behind Cowboys' OL but at the same time, I want AD get his final wish and play for his home state team.

You sound like you got 1 leg on the Cowboys band wagon. Take my hand I'll help you get both feet on

I would take all those other guys over what our team has currently.

I am FULLY on the freeAD bang wagon. Look it's definitely smarter financially to draft a running back. Signing AP goes against everything we've done. However, there's certain exceptions. Hardy and AP are definitely exceptions. We might have a shot at a Super Bowl with a rookie. We definitely have a shot with AP. I'm in the give a second rounder camp.

I would swap San Fran (they have Carlos Hyde) with Miami (#14) and add Carolina (#25) and Baltimore (#26).

I think he is progress.

His contract is a salary cap killer. Assuming he is going to take a huge pay cut is not realistic. The draft is deep with talented RBs and IMO is the way to go.

JG has been trying to make the team younger. Stephen Jones has been trying to get the salary cap under control. How does acquiring AP accomplish either of those?

More importantly how many yards does an effective RB need to gain for the offense to potent? I'm happy with a RB gaining 1200+ that can move the chains, block and keeps the opposing defense honest.

Just curious, which teams do people see drafting RB early? The teams I would have imagined going RB have already addressed the position via free agency. And if AP goes somewhere, that's another team off the board. Then you have teams like New England that would probably never spend a high pick on RB. I wouldn't be surprised if Gurley and Gordon dropped into the 2nd.

San Diego, Detroit, Arizona, Cleveland, Atlanta, Jax, NYJ and maybe more
But some probably pick too early in RD 1 (jets and jags) to pick one there .

The only problem I have is when this team trades for an impact player on the offense it seems something bad happens either the player is no longer good RW11 or blows out his knee.

Peterson>any rookie RB. IMO

Same way they did with Hardy.

I don't want potent. I want dangerous. Petterson gives us that more than anyone else could.

I am not saying trade for him. I am not saying pay a kings ransom for him. But if things was to work out and Petterson could come to Dallas, he makes this team alot better than any rookie can. But again, JMO.
