Maybe it's just me and I know I may have a bad attitude.....but!!! the only records I care about are the number of playoff "W's" Mr. Bledsoe brings us.

To heck w/ the rest of them.

Threw for 3700 yards and 22 Td'S. Behind a terrible Oline and no running game yet had the second best offensive performance since 1995 in Dallas...... you go boy!

13th in the league in rushing ahead of playoff teams such as Indy, Carolina and Tampa. So much for no running game.

13th in the league in rushing yards yes. but 27th in yards per carry (3.6 YPC - that's 6th to last) - 5th overall in rushing attempts.

We are 13th because we ran so damn much -- but we were still lousy at it.

You beat me to it - 3.6 YPC and only 5 yeams in NFL averaged worse. To put that in perspective our 2003 running attack featuring Tham averaged 3.9 YPC!!!

Q: Why did we run so much?

A: It felt so good when we stopped.

Well Indy managed to win 13 straight with a similar apprach:

16 465 29.1 1703 3.7 106.4 18 116 6

with the best QB in the league and perhaps the best WR tandem.

they run to keep D's honest.

we need to run effectively to be effective. they just need to run to be effective.

also, the last 3 games the Colts played, they rested guys. They managed only 2.4 YPC in those games -- that's driving their seasonal YPC down.

Big deal, he played what 50 years to reach that mark? Vinnie Testeverde is garbage, I'm embarrassed that he even played in Dallas. He's a career bum that had ONE good year in NY. I hate people who compare this clown to a MVP calibur player like Drew.

EXACTLY!! Vinny is NINE years older than Bledsoe!!

There is NO compariosn that comes even close to the two of them.

People who really compare those two really need to lay down the pipe.

IF you're going to compare them then pull up Vinny's stats from when he was 33 years old and put them side by side of Bledsoe's...

THAT would be a more fair comparison. OF course no one will do that because that will destroy their Agenda..

Bledsoe is on a complete different level than VT... Anyone with 20/20 visions can see that.

Time to put the champagne on ice boys. We could hold a week-long celebration with a parade and everything for a .500 QB.

This isn't to bash Drew, but you keep posting about this being the 2nd best offense since 1995 is not an impressive stat. It is actually quite meaningless. The offenses have been very anemic lately, so just being 2nd best to 95 doesn't really take that much. Repeating it a 100 times doesn't change that.

Ok... how about repeating it 200 times? ;)

Well said.

The fact is these goofs that consistently think that a successful passing game is mainly reliant on a good running game... are just that... goofs.

They are very-different components of offense and they only slightly relate to eachother when one looks at the numbers.

And then teams that Drew Bledsoe leads don't even make the playoffs.

Will overtake VT and should pass Tark by season end. Another 2007 season and he's over 50,000 yards at age 35.
Other than Manning there are no other active QB's that will sniff 40,000 yards for close to a decade. So much for modern era......The passing era was more 82-96.......

He needs a Super Bowl Pelt next to the two AFC Champ pelts already hanging. That 2nd Super Bowl ring will be special!

None of thase stats mean anything if he doesn't deliver us a Lombardi trophy. Some none Cowboy fans complain Aikman doesn't have the stats to go to Canton. Aikman, however, always delivered when it counted! Bledsoe has not! As far as I'm concerned the only stat that counts is how many championships you win. While I surely hope he does lead us to the Bowl, I highly doubt Bledsoe ever will. With Drew's past history it is hard not to have a glass half empty attitude. :(

They'll all bring their Drew Bledsoe blow-up dolls... that's the point I leave. ;)

Even still, If he does retire after the 2007 season (As I predict he will) he will finish as the 4th all time ranked QB in history and will secure his Hall Of Fame ballot.

Bledsoe only has 2 years remaining on his deal, the '07 season is voidable

No, even then most of us who'd seen him play extensively said "just wait, he'll show us the Bledsoe we know".......and we were right.

that's pathetic dude, at least give the guy props for doing so well when he did, instead of waiting on the inevitable, Bledsoe getting killed behind a POS Oline
