Bledsoe and Romo

I won't see the game until the NFL Network replay on Sunday, but the Cowboys' radio crew didn't seem happy with Romo's play tonight.

They said how on 2 different throws those passes coulda easily been INTd. But they also started givin Romo props when he got going good.

It wasn't great by any stretch. He showed some escapability but showed some boneheadability as well. Overall was pretty decsent as backup. We need to hope Bledsoe stays upright and healthy.

I'm certainly not an expert or anything, but I didn't think Romo played well tonight. Just my opinion.

Was not one of his better outing he did make some bad throws but he did some good things as well out there.

Romo is still careless with the ball. I think he would throw a lot of interceptions if he started regular season games.

I haven't seen anything that excites me about Romo, I just can't figure the excitement about this guy. I think he would be severly exposed if he is ever forced to start. He looked very bad tonight except for one drive.

We can't see practice, but neither Henson or Romo ever really distinguished themselves during the games. Romo fans see what they want to see and Henson fans the same. We have two 3rd string QB's at this point.

Agreed. He wasn't nearly as sharp as he was last week.

I have pulled for both guys and there is no doubt neither is ready to be a strating QB in the NFL but yes I think if Romo is forced to start a game or 2 he could fill in. I don't think Parcells would turn him loose with the playbook but I think he could fill in over a short period. Felt the same about Jason Garrett as well

Be fair.....

Purcells said just a couple of days ago how worthless the QB rating is.

Romo fumbled and seemed off on a lot of his passes.

He wasn't awful. But I didn't think he played well, either.

8/13 91 yards - no interceptions - rough crowd and anti Romo agenda - get that

He's our #2 - CLEARLY.

What about that Henson Int called back? Be fair.....

He leads the team with 4 should have been INTs and 3 could have been INTs, but God knows just because they did not make the NFL.com stat sheet, that Parcells has not noticed.

FYI, an overturn is not a "called back", it got overturned because it WAS NOT AN INT.

Talk about agendas.:D

Yes the interception on the field was overuled by instant replay.

Cmon Nors, bring yourself to say it the way it is. It is not "the interception on the field was overturned." It is THERE WAS NO INTERCEPTION. :)

That is better ;)

If you're going to count an "almost" INT on Henson shouldn't you also count the 2 "almost" INTs on Romo?

How about the pass behind Polite that had Parcells chewing him out?

No spin, our backups did not distinguish themselves tonight.

I am quite happy that the OL played so well and Bledsoe finally looke din charge.

That's my opinion too. Not awful, but not stellar by any means.

I am happy about the OL and the D, and especially Julius Jones. Not gonna worry about the backup QBs and their struggles at all.

Show me a Romo interception? Bledsoe is our Starter and Romo our #2. Henson solidified his role - #3.

What I am wondering is when the play was bein reviewed if NORs was hoping the INT would stand or if it would be overturned. I really serioulsy don not know. :(

No one said he threw one. He almost threw 2. You downgraded Henson for "almost' throwing one.

Be fair, remember?

Show me the 'interception' which Henson 'threw' which was overturned by instant replay...
