Bledsoe is starting to look better

I'm just saying changing QB again is not going to solve anything we need to address this line we have to be able to run the ball and if we can't do that then I don't care who the skill players are.

I agree Dooms, the line needs to be fixed for better running and pass blocking.

I think we can win with Bledsoe if we can run the ball.

Cincy was averaging 4.6 YPC, but only gave Rudi the ball 13 times. The Colts got Edge going for one good drive, but by halftime Manning had pretty much abandoned the run. Denver got too far down too early, and had to totally go away from what got them there in the first place. Even Carolina was done in by Seattle because they were playing their 4th string RB.

The results were the Steelers/Seahawks just teeing off on the QBs.

Bottom line if we can establish the run and slow down the pressure and blitzing then I think Bledsoe can do it. If we can't or we get down early like the Washington game, and it all comes down to Drew throwing the ball, then unless our Oline magically transforms itself then I agree with everything Juke is saying. Bledsoe simply doesn't have the escapability to perform with that kind of pass rush put on him.

Thats why we all loved and now miss Roger the Dodger...

Did you ever watch highlights of Roger Staubach ?

Yeah, and I can see the difference between athletes now, and athletes then. There is no QB in the league that would have been able to avoid the rush Bledsoe was getting, save for maybe Vick.

The Championship games showed that in the end QBs will play to their reputation. Plummer was loose with the football and Dlehomme tried too hard, forcing things.

Thank God that Bledsoe has a positive reputation, side stepping heavy pressure, never locking onto receivers and playing well in poor weather and big games or I'd be concerned.

Excellent, excellent.
