Not sure what people could find to complain about in what he wrote, but some people would complain if you hanged them with a brand new rope (which by the way doesn't make a lot of sense because someone being hanged kind of has the right to complain).

Well, he is assuming that Romo is the 2014 version which is quite an assumption. Him advocating replacing the current winning QB with the rusty and brittle older QB is asinine. It's working! Don't **** with it.

The rope quote is basically saying complainers are going to complain about any and every thing right up until the bitter end. Someone being hanged has the right to complain? What if they deserve it?

Well, I posted a thread with a bunch of tweets by him a few weeks ago where he broke down Dak's performance against somebody and he followed the tweets up with a full article.

He's pretty well-respected in the NFL community, tho I'm still unsure as to who he is. Either way, whenever I see someone do a whole twitter timeline discussing the Cowboys, I try to share.

Sorry, you don't appreciate it.

Never said I didn't appreciate the thought of you sharing, I was just asking who is the guy and why are his opinions meritorious?

I want you to imagine we're talking in February of this year. I say to you the Cowboys will draft a QB and he'll be forced to play at least the first 6 games of the season and his worst game of that stretch will be a win in Green Bay against the Packers.

After your Go Cowboys! seizure, what would you have to say about that?

I'd give a Wade Phillips fist bump .

Romo has worst games than this( last year for instance) when we won.Dak also doesn't get bad plays get to him.

I think it has to do with the talent around him eroding.

I don't know, his throws just seem kinda crappy. He's over and underthrowing guys, and that's something you didn't see him do. But he's always had bad mechanics and was able to make throws from all different angles just based on genetic gifts. I remember listening to a podcast where the scout said you should show Rodgers footage to young QBs to show them what they should NEVER do. But he did it and it worked. Maybe the gift has eroded and because he has bad mechanics and habits he's going to tank hard.

I refer to him as a blogger, but he has a verified account on twitter, so I assume (and you know what they say about that) he's a bit more than a regular blogger. But I mean, he could be Joe Schmoe from Facebook, if his tweets make sense and he's got stats, pics, etc, then it's worthy of being posted here, IMO.

Consider him somebody new to either like or ignore.

Oh good, more revisionist history. Romo has highest 4th quarter rating. Ever. Romo has highest QB rating in December. Ever. Pretty sure Romo doesn't let bad plays "get to him." More excuse-making for Dak. And it's making you sound like a stupid Eagles/Giants/Commanders fan. Congrats.

It could be a combination of all those things. He out-executed everyone, even with bad mechanics and he had elite talent around him. Now his WR corps which is where he made his money is extremely average. His RB is trying to eat himself out of the league the GB defense is half m.a.s.h. unit, half average. He can't elevate them.

I'm so amazed that Lacey is that good and that fat. If he lost 35 lbs he'd be a freaking monster RB.

You don't understand. This article is slightly critical of Dak. The new "Dak Pack" just can't handle that. They would prefer if everyone just trash Romo unfairly (like the rest of the league's fans).

Pathetic.

Imo it was Daks worst game, I have not seen him miss open guys like this Even in preseason.he was rushing his throws for no reason.
I agree. And we won
When I really counted he came through
With Dak and zeke you kinda feel like there is no team on our schedule that really scares you
And I think the players feel that way too

Instead, we should be trusting your assumption that Romo is rusty, old and brittle. Despite the fact that all reports say he looks very sharp. Hmmm...

Well.. the funny thing about it is that the guy tweeted about several things. Unfortunate, folks seized on the Dak criticism. This guy is pretty fair in his observations, from what I can see.

Rodgers final numbers are interesting. Completed 73.8 percent of his passes with three drops while averaging 7.0 yards per carry.
Normal QBs don't get criticized with those numbers.
Rodgers' final numbers are interesting?

We went up 27-9 with 4:22 left, then Rodgers completed 8 straight passes with a TD in garbage time. His numbers up to that point:
23 of 34 213 yd 6.3 ypa 0 td 1 int 72.3

People are buying too much into the media hype that doesn't actually care if the Cowboys win ultimately. They just want something to talk about, and this rookie is it at the moment.

He had a terrible game that the defense and running game helped keep us above water. A better game by the Packers and we lose this badly. People hand the W to Dak, but it was the defense that won this game and Elliott running for over 150 yards... Dak put himself back together in the second half, but if we were down 14 or 21 points because of his mistakes... I don't see him climbing back up. The run would have been abandoned and without Dez Bryant, a one-dimensional passing game funneling through Beasley would have been shut down quickly.
Terrible games? Heard some people say this here, laughable...

Yes. Yes they did. Which is fine except when they inject Romo fiction into the mix, trashing him unfairly like the rest of the league's brain-dead fans. Just pathetic. The last time we saw Romo playing for an extended period, he should have been the league MVP. But yeah, guess we should just assume he's done. Without seeing him play. What kind of sense does that make? It doesn't. In fact, it sounds like a bunch of Dak lovers trying to push Romo out the door because his presence is a bit inconvenient for them.

Favre used to do the same thing playing us in the 90's. We'd get a big lead and he'd throw up some nice numbers in garbage time.
