Blow this thing up!

you realize that most teams rosters turnover like that after 6 years?

Likely not all things considered.

the average NFL roster turns over 25% every year. The average NFL players career is 3,3 years. Now what do you think that looks like after 6 for the average team?
They do? So, most teams are smart enough to blow it up? Sounds right, that's why we don't win in the playoffs.

Its more about turnover rather than blow-up. eg Eagles 2020 (4-11) team didnt stay around, traded away to build.

So, if, after the GB 'play-off' we'd traded: Osa, Tank, Martin, J-Lew (and as we did....not re-sign: Gilmore, Tyron, Pollard, Hankins),.....would you of classified that as a "BLOW THIS THING UP" ?

We are discussing blowing it up a year too late. The above, coupled with Dak playing out his last contract (maybe even re-signing this year, to a more realistic/sensible contract), would of pre-luded any NEED to be discussing blowing it up. But Jerry's ANNUAL RELEVANCY, and even to a point, the fanbase who continually have the expectation to be building forward, rather than accepting that you have to trade away and re-tool to build the foundation.
Those opposed to "blowing it up" are just arguing semantics. "Blowing it up" is a grey term, and can be defined many different ways. A team can "blow it up" by trading away 1-3 players. We "blew it up" by trading Herschel away.

And you can define it any way you want and not be wrong.

Yep, exactly. For me 'blowing it up' would of been trading: Dlaw, Zack, J-Lew and Osa last year and making Dak play for his contract during a re-tooling season. We'd be in a much healthier state than we are. As you say it's not necessarily 'blowing it up', it could be/of been, (to mix a metaphor), a year to of feathered the brakes and re-tool.

Trading your starting QB away can be considered "blowing it up".

He's going nowhere with his NTC. Last year he'd of been with us (with admittedly an inferior roster to the 12-5 years), showing us why how he's worth top dollar ...BY HIS OWN SKILLSET. If he didnt fancy the challenge' last year, fine. find yourself a trade.
