If they believe internally Dak has peaked, the must try to get value now, before it's too late. It clears the books and gives them a chance for a quick rebuild "if" they can find an upgrade. Give Lance a year with Rush as a backup and then decide what to do with a war chest of picks. After the regular season Dak just had, he would at least give us 2 1st round picks from a team like the Vikings, Falcons, etc.

I would also see the market value of Zach Martin, if you can get a day 2 pick, you pull the trigger!
ok but again Dak does have a no trade clause so he will have a say in any trade..the Vikes could offer 4 picks and if he doesnt want to go to Min its dead on arrival.

Dak has money again i gotta think the Carolina Panthers and no attention sounds really good to some of these players right now.....And there are many i would be ok with leaving, but i have no faith in the guy replacing the players or the coaches...
I agree, because whoever comes into the Cowboy organization, no matter their credentials, they will not ever be more important than JJ, and therein lies the problem.

Usually players will waive that clause unless it's a bad situation.
He has that option, that is why he is in the drivers seat. He could be cut or benched, yeah right, but JJ will extend him because of the money involved.

for sure there is a chance he would..actually right now Dak needs a change of scene, he may welcome it...he goes to a better situation and you and I get to stay here and watch JJ torment us with the picks he gets from Dak....Dak would be the winner in this, you and I not so much...

Although it has to hurt that these articles are accurate and that after defending Dak for all these years, even the Dak homers are starting to feel, deep down, that they faith in Dak may have been misplaced.
My faith in Dak has gone nowhere. I still believe he’s a good quarterback. 2nd team all proved that.

Lol. The overcompensation from you is crazy. Nah I don’t ever wish to be you. You have an inferiority complex on certain things and I could never be that person. We always going to clash because you’re an overcompensating online gatekeeper of “culture” smh.
You done or is you finished?

He is a good QB, just not a franchise QB like some of his fans think he is. At his age, he is becoming to be a good backup somewhere if he still wants to play ball, however, you, I and the rest of us Cowboy fans are going to see him again this coming season.

I mean it depends on your opinion of franchise qb. I think Kirk Cousins is a franchise qb. I think Deshaun Watson is too. I think Dak is certainly is that. My stance on Dak hasn’t changed my stance on if we will win with him has.

Ok lets say i agree to a quick rebuild...WHO will be doing the rebuilding? again you have seen wholesale changes and literally 2 of the luckiest QB picks in NFL history (obviously TB12 takes the trophy) 2 SB winning HC come to town an Oline that was considered maybe the best in the league for multiple years......this is much deeper than a quick rebuild, either JJ changes his way of running this team or we will just have diferent names to be pissed at..
We all know the biggest problem is the Joneses. Whether it’s Jerry, Stephen, Jerry Jr. Charlotte, ect. That will never change. We know they will find a target, Dak, MM, Quinn and they will move on.

I think you can get a haul for Dak between Pittsburgh and Atlanta. If they do it they would have to negotiate with France quietly. Let him find a team then make a trade. It actually might be best for both parties. Lance gets a year and let’s see what happens.
