The defense played awful, but if anyone can stand here and tell me that they played their hearts out when their QB did absolutely nothing in the first half is lying to themselves.

People are still people, and to continue playing from behind, you need hope. We all knew which Dak was playing 7m into the game. So did the defense. It was hopeless, and it definitely impacted their effort.

NOBODY is happy. That's a fantasy in your head that you have all made up to make it feel like we all just hate Dak because we are trolls, and fans of other teams or whatever, and want him to lose because somehow that makes it more palatable for you, so you can just shrug off the very real things we are saying about him. The problem is, we don't want him to lose. We want him to win. But he keeps proving to us over and over again that he can't. That doesn't make us happy. It makes us pissed off, THAT's why there's 300 Dak "Hate" threads.
Well said.

Clearly the bickering will continue until we get another QB. Then guys like me will start the negativity. I blame Jerry Jones for the in house fighting within the Cowboys fandom.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them. Dak has shown what he is, time and time again. Some fans and Jerry Jones choose not to believe him.
It's like the Battered Wife Syndrome.
Dak keeps abusing us, and (some) keep coming back for more.

Yeah that for sure wasn't mean i'll own up to riding for Dak but I don't make any gloat and call out threads...I will recognize those who don't show up after good games sure but I don't call anyone out directly.
In the marketing world it is very common knowledge that people are far more likely to complain about a negative experience than compliment a positive one. It's human nature. When there's nothing to complain about (playing good) it's quieter. When we play bad, it's noisier.

How fair is that analysis? Remember this is a team sport. When the entire defense is underperforming and the offensive line isn't protecting Dak and his WRs are in a funk, you are still expecting an individual at QB to deliver. That's just not reality. Something else has to be working for Dak to give you what you want of him.
So you are literally blaming everyone but Dak in your post here...lol

Some just keep hoping this will be the last time they get hit and he's really gonna change this time. Or it was someone else's fault...why did the kids ask him why he was having another drink?

“Dak played bad in only 1 playoff game”

Clearly in over half of his playoff games, hes gotten off to slow starts
Nah. It ain’t half. It’s all of them except against the 8-9 Tampa team with 44 year old Tom Brady. Every last one of them we have seen them have a slow start.

I remember half the board with Quincy and half the board against. Same with all of the QB therein since. Cowboys fans have never agreed on QBs over the past 28 years and it will continue. Only one thing can change that, and Jerry has no clue in his tiny football mind.

This is NOT defending Dak.

But shouldn't the coaching staff have a better idea of the kind of quarterback he is by now? Should they have put a better gameplan in place for him this time to guard against another slow start? I know there is only so much coaches and scheme can do, but it's not like Dak has never gotten off to a great start and never won a "must win" game (although most have been in the regular season).

As much as people want to laugh at the Dak "fan boys" it seems the Cowboys' coaching staff is even more guilty of trying to make him out to be the QB that he isn't. Just a thought.

Its true but its not how it should be. I sure don't practice those. I'm far more quieter on the negative stuff. Not because it makes me look wrong but because its harder to be negative.
