Football 101 is your friend.Dak might have trade value. Zeke has none.

Ya, this is the caption obvi I us part that He completely ignored. He mentions what it will cost the new team, but fails to point out what it will cost Dallas in dead cap. THAT is why he it’s extraordinarily unlikely he gets traded, even if Dallas wanted to.
Also, by rule you can’t trade him tonight, nor for another 7 weeks
I'd trade Zeke for 2 first round picks, then trade those 2 first round picks for 4 first round picks, next i would look to trade Boss man for Mahomes.... hire me for GMDak might have trade value. Zeke has none.
I guess this gives clarity to the issue financially but the reality is it ain't happening, forget it........Jerry would sell the team first (LOL) AND the no-trade clause means you need Dak's blessing. Good luck....

Spill the beans....what teams takes those trade?I've been doing mock drafts on PFF, and the first thing I do is trade Dak. The second thing I do is trade Zeke. It is amazing the young teams I can build that way.
Sadly, PFF mocks are not real life. Instead we'll get the Jones boys convincing themselves that they made the right decisions, and running it back all over again.
Contracts are meant to be broken, and Dallas could easily force Dak into waiving his no trade clause, but Jerry would never allow it.Dak has a no trade clause in his contract. Every day we have to say this simple simon reminder here.
Jerry doesn't like to admit mistakes. Look at the decade long coach in training. Not a great quality for a "GM" in pro football.Contracts are meant to be broken, and Dallas could easily force Dak into waiving his no trade clause, but Jerry would never allow it.
So, we would paying Dak less in a trade than if he were still on the roster? These are the cap consequences for any proposed ‘trade’:
2023 Dead Cap: $58,070,000
2023 Cap Savings: $-8,940,000
The actual work that Sturm failed to do before trying to chastise anyone else.
As I reminisce about the "Dak is better than Stafford" days, not all that long ago on this forum, I also remember that the Rams gave up 2 first round picks and their own first overall drafted QB, to get a 10 year veteran QB with a grand total of 3 playoff games and 0 playoff wins.ok, Dak maybe tradable. maybe fetch a 3rd at this point or fool a team to up it to a second based on performance. but zeke is not tradable, or maybe just for a 6th or 7th round pick at best. who would want to take on his salary for his 2.5ypc output.
The no trade clause is the least of the barriers. All you have to do is make it clear he is no longer part of your plans. He will get on board with leaving if shown the proper motivation.Dak has a no trade clause in his contract. Every day we have to say this simple simon reminder here.
More in 2023.So, we would paying Dak less in a trade than if he were still on the roster?
