Bobby Belt alluding to the new culture in Dallas we will start to see in a hurry

Why do so many of the media commentators associated with the team these days sound like they'd be perfectly at home writing for the Landry hat or blogging the Boys?
Because they're gutless. Much like too many players, they just want the easiest paycheck they can get. And that comes from sucking up to the team and their sources.

Not to relive some ancient history but I wonder what thoughts Brian HC has in why in a winnable playoff game in SF with Pollard breaking his leg the next best option Malik Davis at the time was in deep freeze the entire second half and of course Dallas lost .

For an OC who “ loves the run game “ what was that strategy ? Was it all Iron City Beer Mikes call ? No one will ever tell the truth anyway .

Time will tell. Hope this new coaching staff teaches emotional intelligence, communication, self awareness, focus, discipline, dedication and accountability.
Righto! There's more to Pro athletes than just pure physical talent. I think Dallas made entitlement the culture. WRONG!

am not sure Michael Joran had the most pure athletic talent. But he DID have everything you listed there.

I couldnt believe this Bobby Belt dude was wearing a Cowboys cap as he "reported" on the Micah/ D Law thing. For crying out loud, respected reporters don't do that stuff. Plus, he always knew about stories long before they became public---but it was never productive to report on them. LOL What a clown.

It still amazes me how many still buy into Jerry’s BS every year. This is a 6-7 win team tops. Even if the blind hog does find an acorn and they back into the playoffs. We aren’t winning anything.

What if the Giants find a QB under a rock my goodness will the annual Thanksgiving battle NY vs Dallas be for 3rd place superiority ….

Davis blew a blitz pickup and they yanked him.

He’s a puppet and everyone knows that this hire was a joke. He isn’t changing any culture here, lol
Folks need to know the culture is Jerry Jones built, ran, and upheld. No coach will overcome that weight unless they have final say on roster.

Davis blew a blitz pickup and they yanked him.

I love this sight when knowledgeable fans like you remember and appreciate what I’m asking .

Even if Davis blew a blitz assignment the Cowboys were dead in the water not running him the second half . You cut your teams chances of winning to zero to bench the guy .

That is true.

However, this whole thing about culture is real.

There are ALWAYS little cliques and groups...and as soon as they no longer have to be in the same place then it will spill out into the open.

Lawrence definitely felt like he ran the team, at least on the defense, yet the guy took the bag every chance he could, was hurt an inordinate amount of time, and was hardly a leader to look up to. Funny to note his best seasons were when he was up for a deal.

He did play hard and was an above average player, but he really won't be missed.
Yes, culture is real and important, but this fish stinks from the head and he ain't changing.

Have you seen the preview for the Netflix documentary on Jerry?

Three quotes to think about.

"keep em talking"
"365 day a year soap opera"
"on field results dont matter"
No i didnt. Havent even heard about it.

I dont have Netflix and i dont plan to get it.
But i will have a look see in my free Video-On-Demand Library wether i am able to find it there.

I have read about his comment "keep em talking". But i wasnt aware its so valuable that someone wants to wrap a movie around it ;-)

Anyways...

Thanks a lot for the hint.

The Dallas media is an absolute clown show from Bobby belt to Mike Fisher to the D bag nation to Mickey Spagnola to the soft Texas fan base all of it is repulsive.
Especially the Texas fans who can only go golly G another season of Jerry.
As Kobe Bryant said soft.
You are right.

I have to admit i still like to watch Hanging with the Boys.

There are also "laundered with fabric softener" but still have something to say (sometimes).

I like Nate: He is not short of critique even if he calls himself a big fan (which he is for sure).
