Bogus call on Gregory

Refs really need to be looked at...not late when holding ankles when 11 had the ball in his hands
eh...i was ok with the call...probably moreso that we had a td called back the play before on a questionable call.

I hold nothing against Gregory though...it was a good play.

speaking of calls......the play F.Cox got called for roughing the QB

I swear I saw him basically get his hand under Daks f.mask and put a choke hold on him
wonder if he also mouthed trash about chokeing to dak

definitely feels like the refs are picking on Randy Gregory the last few weeks

his speed rush did give Peter some issues. I wish Dallas had blitzed behind Randy Gregory because he often opened up a big gap that a blitzer could have run into

It was a bad call
So was the one on the eagles the play before

But the play before you can argue either way, I do think it was a bad call but it wasn't atrocious. Roughing the Passer when the QB could easily have had the whistle blow for a sack is atrocious. If Wentz tucks the ball instead of tossing it there is no way you can call it anything but a sack.

I guess they called it for going low but he didn’t hit wentz low he just wrapped him up low
I thought there were several bad calls in the game and certainly didn’t benefit us

I think the referee saw Wentz's ankle twist and the flag was out. It wasn't roughness or malicious by Gregory.

They need to burn NFL officiating to the ground and start over, especially with these new penalties emphasizing "player safety." It won't happen though because all of this is being done to prevent future lawsuits, especially with the head trauma stuff.

I also believe that certain calls/no-calls should be reviewable. I can understand not being able to review judgment calls that happen so fast (ex: holding, pass interference) but for things that get missed that can be clear-cut with instant replay (ex: facemasks, horse collars) they should be allowed a chance to review and throw the flag. We are in an age of technology where we can get replays instantly so the excuse that refs are humans and therefore, can't be expected to catch everything is dumb. We know they're humans and can make mistakes...let's use technology to help them. I'd rather get things right then live by the human element of the game.

Apparently you cant grab the ankles of the QB when he still has the ball in his hand:huh:

The officiating was horrible, for both teams...……….the Eagles got screwed on their TD getting called back, that was not a push off

Push will hands or his helmet. He was able to get space on Heath.

Bad calls both ways .

There were definitely bad calls both ways and there are plenty of plays like the Saints game where the officials flat out miss a facemask or spearing hit.

But there was only one call that you absolutely can't make rhyme or reason of - and it was roughing the passer on a DE that has the QB in his grasp. I can't wait to read the follow up on that call because its mystifying.

EDIT - the helmet call on DLaw for the deep snapper was close to that also. You coiuld hear Aikman completely at a loss for words and throwing it to Pereira like "lil help....."
