They’ve been open. I’ve watched the All-22. The quarterback can’t read a defense 9 seasons into his career. Watch Rush on Sunday.
Oh ok, I'll watch it again, They havent been open in fact they arent even running patterns to get open, they go upfield and stop, not much of a pattern

The Eagles will blow out the Cowboys. McCarthy will be fired after the Giants beat the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

I can see a blowout happening and Big Mike keep his job because its Jerry's way. Our next 3 games are vs the Eagles, Texans, and then Commanders. I can see use getting blown out all 3 games and Big Mike will still have his job. Jerry will blame injuries on this failed year. Big Mike signs a 3 year contract extension. Just wait.

First of all Jerry is the head coach, he calls all the shots and everything goes through him so it doesn’t matter who the for show head coach is.
Second, we could have the first overall pick and we’d screw it up by drafting the next Mazi or Taco, and we sure wouldn’t consider drafting a franchise QB.
Hell I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jerry trade the first pick for the Jets 4th round pick and Tyron Smith. Then he’ll go on the fan during his weekly interviews and say we couldn’t afford a first rounder, he likes the guys we have and bringing Tyron back will solidify the line.

The Cowboys will get blown out by the Eagles in Sunday at home sending them to 3-6 on the season.

And Monday morning, Mike McCarthy will be fired.
bold prediction.

I thought the bye week would have been the best time.

It's certainly going to be a quiet-firing at the end of the season.

Not going to happen. Poor roster management is not McCarthy's responsibility. Dallas is doing a rebuild this year. There was no chance Dallas was making the playoffs. Without Dak, Dallas has the perfect excuse now. Nevermind the offensive line is like a slieve. Enjoy the games the rest of the year, no pressure now.

It would have to be a beatdown like Detroit gave us for McCarthy to get fired. It’s not like firing him would change the way this season is going but it would at least show that Jerry has become fed up.

in Jerry’s warped world, the injuries are sabotaging the season; and with Dak going on IR, MM will get to finish out the remainder of the games. At this juncture does it even matter if MM is fired? Nobody they can bring in the middle of the season can turn this around.
What I am anxious to see is if Rush is not effective will Jerry mandate that Lance gets some live game action.

The Hunt family left Carl Peterson in charge for 20 years, the last 15 of which resulted in zero playoff victories. The Ford family left Matt Millen in charge for nearly a decade.

The fans of those teams weren’t like “Well at least these are football guys that they refuse to fire!”
Neither left their struggling GMs there for 30 years.

Not so bold prediction: McCarthy will fininsh out the season no matter what.

Jerry hates paying coaches who aren't roaming the sidelines.

To what end?
What exactly would that accomplish?
You’re left with Shottenheimer (who) doesn’t even call plays as the offensive coordinator and Zimmer who seams to be either senile or completely unable to adjust to new offensive and defensive schemes at this stage as your 2 throw ins!
McCarthy put together 3 consecutive 12 win seasons. Jerry at minimum will give him the minimum respect he deserves and let him finish out the season!
I doubt MM gets fired but if you are arguing from a standpoint of logic it’s a waste of time. This FO gave up a 4th for a guy that wasn’t good enough to see the field for the worst team in the NFL. Literally anything is possible.

There's no one to replace him with. All these coaches kind of suck.

They might as well suck it up and let the year play out. Probably will serve our Draft slot better anyways. The house will be cleaned soon enough.
Unless Jerry has a *wink-nod* agreement with another coach, you typically need to fire your coach a month before the end of the season so that the best prospects don't get taken by other teams.

Of course when Jerry fired Garrett he waited until the last minute and picked the last, lumped up and bruised fruit left at the market.
