Predictions are just good for each person soul, right or wrong. So here goes.
AFC East - NY Jets
AFC South - Texans
AFC North - Bengals
AFC West - Chiefs
Wildcards - Chargers, Ravens, Bills

NFC East - Cowboys
NFC South - Falcons
NFC North - Lions
NFC West - Rams
Wildcards - Vikings, Eagles, 49ers

Dak, Ceedee, Micah all are extended for 4 years
Defense ends up top 5 defense and top 10 in run stopping
Offense improves from last year, Zeke gets 1200 yards, Dak finishes as top 5 QB, Tolbert has breakout season, we end up with 3 rookies on OL by mid season.
New kickoff rule makes Dallas a potent team with all time high starting position.

The Cowboys record will be lower than the previous three seasons. They will go 10-7. However, they will make the playoffs and even reach the NFC championship game.

They will start out 4-4 as the O-line and running game struggles early. However, they will get help in an unlikely place. Schoonmaker will have a breakout season, enough to where Ferguson and Schoonmaker are considered TE1A and TE1B.

This will take a lot of pressure off the running game, the O-line, and the receivers.

Elliot will be more useful in the passing game than the running game. He will provide better protection for Dak and also be an additional safety valve in the same way as the TE's.

Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Malik Davis, and Royce Freeman will not make the team. The Cowboys will trade for a RB after the season begins.

Diggs will struggle after surgery at first. He will improve rapidly after the 1st half of the season. Generally speaking, the Cowboys won't be as dynamic in takeaways. However, the running defense will be much improved.

Terrence Steele will continue to struggle and risk losing his starting job to either Waletzko or Edoga.

Trey Lance will impress during the preseason but will not participate during the regular season. Dak will miss two games, Cooper Rush will go 1-1.

The pass rushers will begin to form a bond inspired by strong competition. They will motivate each other and set the tone for the entire team. Parsons, Lawrence, Williams and Kneeland will each have at least 7 sacks.

Mazi Smith will be much improved but we won't know this by looking at his stats. PFF will convince us that and so will guys like Damone Clark who benefits directly from Mazi's ability to blow up plays at the line of scrimmage,

The surprise of the season will be a breakout by Damone Clark. This will be due to a combination of Mike Zimmer's style of defense, an improved run defense by the D-line and two years to heal from his injury.

Everyone has crapped on our offseason from the fans to the media. We lost depth and weren’t active in free agency so our season will hinge on a number of first and second year players.
Yea, I read the news everyday. I'm fully aware of what the media and fans are saying about the Cowboys off season.

Bottom line is they lost no one important. Injury waiting to happen LT perhaps. Armstrong. But, there are players already on the roster ready to take over and add in the draft picks and boom.

I fail to see a roster full of holes as many proclaim.

The Cowboys went 12-5 with the same set of players last year.
Skill players definitely weren't why they went 12-5. They lost alot of players. You may think that they upgraded, but OL and DL more often then not struggle in their first year. If you think they are as good, or better than they were last year then I have some stuff I want to sell you at unreasonable prices

The depth we lost was important and Pollard was our best back. With Tyron gone we’re going to have to force feed his young replacement. If you don’t see any holes then you must be assuming we’ll be fine with these young players. We won’t know how it’s going to go until the regular season starts. Anytime you’re going to be depending on a number of young players there’s going to be some concerns. If Mazi doesn’t vastly improve over what we saw last season we’re going to have some real issue up front because he’s going to have to play a lot. He didn’t play a lot last season because he was a liability. Now we have no choice but to play him a lot.

Ezekiel Elliott gets cut in preseason. Both Dowdle & Davis outplay him.

Brandin Cooks get cut in Preseason. Jalen Cropper gets the final WR spot.

Kavontae Turpin becomes the slot WR.

Brock Hoffman starts at Center WEEK 1

Caelin Carson passes both Scott & Wright in the depth chart.

Luifui becomes a final cut with hopes he makes the PRACTICE SQUAD.

Sam Williams plays RDE while Parsons plays multiple positions moving Parsons around.

Deuce Vaughn goes to PRACTICE SQUAD.

The holes i mentioned were still there last season, but it got worst. What makes Bell strengthen the safety position? He was an udfa two years, the Cowboys always try to fix the safety position with late round picks or udfa and it never works. Smith to Guyton means all pro to rookie, thats a downgrade
That dude is absolutely clueless

If losing Tyron Smith isn’t important then you are just being naive intentionally. He played get last season and was basically healthy all year. There is 0 chance a rookie has a season as good as Tyron’s last season. So there is one.

RB is a big issue. DT is another big issue. WR3 is a big problem. Losing Gilmore is a massive downgrade. He was very good last season. Diggs is an injury concern. We didn’t add any LBs that are guaranteed to fix the issues we had there, so that’s still a question mark. There are plenty areas of concern. You just don’t want to see them.

Dak and MM are on their final years of their contract. It’s entirely possible if things don’t go well early, the ship sinks becuase of it. We also lost DQ and if you think MZ isn’t at least a little bit of a drop off then you are lying to yourself.

Dak, MM, Zimmer, and other players we signed all on one year deals. I dont know why he overlooks that

He thinks Tolbert is an nfl caliber WR3. That should tell you enough about how he operates

Great post of all valid concerns.
Nice job.

I predict that many on this thread will predict based on their emotional needs and not what realistic thought process would tell them.

I’ll have a go since some of you aim too low even when you are being blatant homers. Dak Prescott is signed to a twenty year fully guaranteed contract averaging at least $60M/year. Jerry Jones announces he will be personally head coaching and that he has found a new infusion that guarantees at least another 50 years of life. Dak Prescott passes for over 7K yards, 80 TDs, and 1 interception (that he purposely throws to prove that he’s human). He wins league and SB MVP while seeing all time records in the playoffs for passing yardage, TDs, and rushing totals. Ezekiel Elliot will lead the league in rushing totals and TDs. Ceedee Lamb will have over 2500 yards receiving and 35 TD receptions. The offensive line will give up three sacks all season including the playoffs. Jake Ferguson will have over 1500 yards receiving and 18 TD receptions. The defense will give up fewer than 25 yards rushing on average and fewer than 100 total yards per game. Micah Parsons will have 43 sacks and Diggs will have 34 interceptions (12 pick sixes).

Opponents will have to choose one of their stars to sacrifice to the Cowboys’ God after their humiliating defeats. All franchise ownerships and front offices will publicly swear their perpetual allegiance to all things Cowboys.

Realistically, the Cowboys end up somewhere in between the most pessimistic/optimistic fan takes. Lol.

i'll start at the top.....to be the champ, you gotta beat the champ...KC gonna be there again. Bengals, Bills, Ravens have not proven yet they can beat them even with their QBs.... Mahomes is the difference maker just like Brady was. Dynasty established as Mahomes/Reid replace Brady/Belichek...

Everyone else is just fighting for crumbs....Dallas will be among those have nots, lucky to even win the WC game and that's about it... hitting their ceiling especially with you know who. Those expecting MM to get fired will be sadly disappointed as he gets extended by Jerry. FO too lazy to look for another puppet. The rest......who even cares.
