Boldin to Baltimore per Schefter

The move for Roy Williams at the time was to put us over the top. Thats why we payed so much.

Remember everyone complaing about not having a #2 receiver?

I don't have a problem with the Cowboys giving up what they did because it was a move that they thought put us in the Superbowl.

What was the extension for then?

Its amazing how many just slam the move now, even though 90% of the people here supported it and many were begging for it for a year or so before it happened.

And for the Boldin lovers, why was it that the Cards offense was just as good, and many times even better when he wasnt out there?

Well your not going to give up that much and just let the guy walk after a year.

We made the move mid-season. Probably the biggest mid-season trade in history.

Thats why we gave up so much and we pushed the chips all in because Crayton as a #2 was viewed as our only weakness.

Same reason why the Dallas offense didn't sputter when Roy wasn't in the game..........

He's wasn't their best receiver.

Far more games that Boldin missed for Arizona than what RW missed here. Bad comparison.

Lions GM, runs and has been part of horrible NFL franchise

Jones, not so much

Far more? Classify "far more".

actually after they add a couple more good players in the first two rounds this year, they are going to have a pretty formidable core of players.

Stafford has something and they seem to have a player at running back and tight end. Throw in the big wideout and they are starting to put it together.

I honestly can see them improving alot over the next two years...

especially if they get suh and now they have vanden bosch.

Detroit if they can pull this off being so young and I think good at qb could flip flop spots with minnesota in two years.

I agree. That team has a shot at being 7-9 next year. Stafford is legit and so is Calvin.

If they can fix their lines then they will have something.

At least Boldin doesn't play lame.

Roy Williams looks like he sprained his ankle every time he runs routes.

Roy Williams' defenders,

weigh in...

Baltimore made a great deal, and Arizona, for some reason, accepted less than it should have (maybe there's a good reason for it).

Sometimes you work a great deal; sometimes you don't. We've been on both sides of it.
