They could always go after Michael Vick. Being from the DC area a lot of my friends are Commanders fans - I always get a good laugh when they claim that getting Vick would bring a Championship to Washington. :D

I don't have a problem with the Cowboys giving up what they did because it was a move that they thought put us in the Superbowl.

I had a problem with it because it was stupid.

Boldin and a 5th for 3rd and 4th round picks.

Solid move by Balt.

Yeah, Jerry should take notes on how a real GM makes a trade. But after 20 years, I doubt he'll ever get it.

2 firsts for Galloway. 1st and 3rd for Roy.

Meanwhile Balt. gets Boldin for a 3rd and 4th plus gaining a 5th.

I bet Detroit is still laughing.

Its amazing how many just slam the move now, even though 90% of the people here supported it and many were begging for it for a year or so before it happened.

And for the Boldin lovers, why was it that the Cards offense was just as good, and many times even better when he wasnt out there?

A 1st and 3rd was too much - then and now. Jerry just did what he does best - overpay!

At least Arizona got two good picks in a deep draft for a corpse. I'd be shocked if Boldin didn't miss at least 5-6 games next season due to injury next year. He would've been good in a place with an established 1 rather than a squad that would have to depend on him to produce at a Pro bowl level for a full season.

I would still take A. Boldin over Roy Williams....

Am I the ONLY person not on Boldin's d-word?!? The guy has almost never played a full season, has bad knees, concussions, and has been complaining for 3 years. I see him having the same kind of production as Roy E. next year, just mediocre. Not the savior. Alvin Harper got a great deal with Tampa and life was a little different without Irvin on the other side of the field. I know every case is different, but I think all of us were in love with Harper in the early 90s, and he is a great example of what happens when going for being "that guy" to "the guy." I don't like his attitude, or his proneness to injury. Actually, I don't like anything about him other than his rookie year. (This is based on memory, I could very well be wrong.)

And then if Boldin got hurt (like he almost always does) and RW goes elsewhere and does well, you'd slam Jerry and say they gave up a healthy guy for a guy proven to be brittle, or something along those lines.

All you people acting like you never wanted Roy Williams in that trade or knew it was bad need to freaking stop, because I guarantee you at least 80-90% of CZ was chomping at the bit for a year or so for Jerry to go get Roy Williams. Its fine to crticize RW for not being what we hoped, but for so many to act like this was a horrible deal and they knew it all along is lame.

A corpse?
He had 85 receptions in 15 games...and nearly 1/2 of his catches were for 1st downs. Amazing.

I'm not one to get bent ouf shape that we didn't get Boldin, but this guy is a freaking warrior. Plus the guys has > 1000 yards 4 of the last 5 season....so he is consistant. He does get banged up but few go over the middle and take the hit like he will.

Also, he had possibly his best season without Fitz playing and two years ago when Fitz went down he dominated.

This guy can play and the Ravens got a steal. A 3rd and a 4th for Boldin and a 5th is a steal.

This all moot by the way...no way Zona trades him to Dallas. No way.
