My only question is ; if Al Harris was suddenly beloved by the fan base for Blands one great year, why doesn't Fossil get that same respect for actually discovering and bringing the best kicker in the NFL here?

Hate losing him. He was good. Yes some of the players screwed up but that’s on the player. They knew better. Call a punt block and they get a penalty for running into kicker. Hands team knowing to get out of the way of the ball and tries to field it and fumbles. Or don’t fall on it. Players know the game and have to execute.

I don’t even think it takes a force….do head coaches really care? If I had the number one unit in the league I wouldn’t care. It’s much different then a DC or OC.

The fact we haven't hired a coach yet means one of 2 things: Either Jerry is lost and confused about the direction he wants to go or the next coach is still coaching.

I am not that disappointed, honestly. Turpin is great, and so is Aubrey. But they're not going to stink up the joint because the coach left. I was getting tired of some of his stupid fake punt calls that failed more than they succeeded. and the constant penalties on every returned punt or kick were maddening. To me, Fassell showed some of the same lack of attention to detail that the rest of the team suffered from.

The worst part of this is it shows just how bad that the Cowboys circus must be if they wanted him back and he left anyway.

Oh lol my mistake. I'm actually not sure but I mean it makes sense the Cowboys don't have a head coach so either wait around for the Cowboys or get a job now. He chose to get a job now. People think he had nothing to do with our special teams being good. I can't say if that's true or not honestly.

I'm sure it just depends on who each party is. If its an established head coach with multiple options you're looking to hire they most likely want to bring in their guys. A guy like Kellen Moore could probably care less, because hes just happy to get the opportunity.
