Parcells has mentioned his respect for Mason several times since he has been here. He's also talked about how well the UMinny players are coached. It's a viable name no one has mentioned before...

God I hope you are so wrong Glenn Mason sucks.

Let's see... He goes 6-6 with a team that was supposed to challenge for the national title. Every year, Iowa is supposed to be loaded for bear. And every year, they are a disappointment. The one word I would use to describe Ferentz--underachiever

Who were you listening to that said Iowa was supposed to challange for a national title this year??? Anyone who said that is insane. They lost 2 of the best linebackers in the nation, they lost their starting wide receivers, both starting cornerbacks, and a safety. Not to mention Iowa doesnt exactly have the recruiting power that a Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame etc does. This year, yes 6-6 is a huge disappointment. However saying Ferentz is an underachiever is flat out wrong. He has won the Big 10 twice, and before this year had his team playing in four straight January bowl games. For the talent that he has to work with, he has OVER-achieved if anything

There's no way JJ is going to hire a college coach, not a single one, unless they have pro experience.

It's not that they can't get the job done, but he wants to win now, with the current team, not go through a phase of adapting to the pro game.

I'd be shocked totally if he were to even consider a college coach to replace BP....my first choice, since we have a young QB and RB tantem, would be Norv Turner.

Norv has flamed out in two different places why would we give him a third shot. I'd rather try someone else.

He's in fricking Minnesota, I think he's done extremely well considering the circumstances.

Check your records...NOrv was doing a good job in Washington and had that team on the right road...Shottenheimer was also doing a good job in WAshington before being canned for Steve Spurrier.

Norv had no chance in Oakland, just as no one else has any chance working for Al Davis.

I'd say look at what Norv did with Dallas, a truly putrid offense until he took over, a guy Aikman gives full credit to for his development.

I'd say look what he's done with that SF offense in just one season...I'd be thrilled with Norv, but I'll be happy with any coach who is an offensive minded guy...I don't want a head coach who's into the defensive side unless he brings a star OC with him.

True or False question- Norv Turner has been fired as a NFL head coach twice.- True
Next question, next candidate

Why not Lovie Smith he's grossly underpaid in Chicago if they try to lowball him on his next contract he should walk away from Chicago
