I agree in the most part expect I think Prescott is a bang average NFL Quarterback. He should be throwing the ball a maximum of circa 25 times a game and using his legs more. Simplify the offense. The front office probably want to justify his ridiculous contract which is an issue in itself.

Id give Dak a better than average (even good) grading AT CERTAIN ASPECTS. But you're :hammer:keep it simple, stick to the run, dont give him any difficult/contested plays, and keep away from any slants (keep to curls) between the hashes. I'd love to see his accuracy rate on slant plays...i'd bet its dreadful.

Rogers showed what we expect of Dak. Dak got 40M and is not the guy. We need new QB and RB ASAP if we want to compete in playoffs and SB. Not this year obviously.

That's the whole point why that play failed....just a poor play. Irvin's commenting on what CD should do...but speaking as if the secondary has no influence on the play whatsoever.

As a timing pattern there's too many imponderables that could of affected the play.
So now you dont think Irvin knows how to read defenses... cool.

Wow.

He's talking about what the WR should (correctly) do. In a vacuum he's right, however, he DIDNT mention how that particular play would pan out. The LB does well and covers back enough to make the cut more difficult. If CD makes the cut, he slows down and to be fair HE ISNT THE PHYSICAL RECEIVER THAT IRVIN WAS and would have probably lost out to the Safety who would of hardly had to move to make the pick off.

Horrible play that doesnt suit Dak nor CeeDee.

CD was Dak's second read on both INT plays you posted.

The one in the touchdown Shultz or CD clearly ran the play wrong, since we see them both arguing about the play afterwards. Also, CD not being aggressive on the play that where he suppose to go underneath the safety isn't Daks fault.

Yall want Dak to throw with anticipation, yet when the receiver runs the wrong route what is he suppose to anticipate?

These arent excuses, they are facts. Dak played poorly, but not as poorly yall want to make it seem.

No they weren’t. Dak even said he was throwing to Schultz on the first one and he got knocked of his route and said he was going to Lamb expecting him to do something else.

you are just making stuff up and that’s why I post videos, becayse we know guys like you will make any excuse for this scrub QB who is staring down his WRs the whole time from the snap.

I don"t buy that the receiver running the wtong route caused the interception. Maybe the receiver did, but if you look at the replay from the camera behind the QB, the receiver had very clearly cut to a post pattern before the ball was released. Dak should have seen that.

Exactly, all these people claiming that Dak fired off the pass before the receiver makes the cut need to go look at both interceptions, in both cases he stares down the receiver, no other read is made and just fired it over the middle right into the arms of the defense.

Always with the slants that this happens.

bottom line is our fans are trash and our QB is overpaid and slightly above average but good enough to win with. Yes others have to do their jobs but football is a team game.

But even if CeeDee makes the correct route chances are the Safety makes one step and gets picked off.

He does this all the time. I pointed this out when one of his zealots tried posting that video of the guy on YouTube thinking it actually proved his point that it wasn’t “Dak’s fault” for firing off passes right where the second safety is on cover 2.

I tell them over and over again, watch HIM, not just the WRs if you want to see what the problem is.

In the NFL today with so much parity and equal talent among teams across the NFL it comes down to what you do with the pressure is on and Dak Folds 9 of 10 times. He had three chances to pull this game out and he failed on all three tries. If you’re an elite quarterback, you have a third and four in your opponents territory and you’re going in for the win? You make that first down. End of story. And don’t give me this crap about the non-past interference call. I watch that from every angle and it was questionable but he threw into extremely tight coverage. So the blame falls squarely on him for making that his choice of a receiver in the first place. He panics in the pocket. He’s second-guessing Himself and as a result he tries to check down and take the easy route even when it’s covered.
I do think he’s better than our back up, but he is not a 40/$50 million quarterback. Not even close.

At that price the man is a wasted resource. Cap dollars that could be spent improving other parts of the team are wasted on an overpayed QB.

I know what they said on the air but that doesn’t make it true. It could’ve been on him. We don’t know and either do the people on air unless they are in the Cowboys locker room drawing up plays. This dude Dak is the blameless leader from some of y’all smh. I don’t know who’s fault it is and neither do most is what im saying.
I mean after the first int ceedee and dak are both talking to schultz. If they were on dak i would say that

Facts are only excuses when they don't fit your narrative.

You said it’s a second read and Dak is staring down CeeDee the whole way. He’s not looking for any other WR, and nobody was in the area as Lamb runs a post route down the middle. Just admit your wrong and move on.

You said Dak was staring at CD the whole way, you also said Dak threw to Shultz. Which is it?

Both ended up in the same area, because of a wrong route. So, how is that Daks fault?
