Stick to comebacks and curls....staying away from timing slants or in patterns. I always thought his persistent throwing behind slant running receivers was due to him not releasing the ball (yips), yesterday showed that receivers (CD mainly) werent in the right position/route....but as someone said, Dak still makes the throw regardless of whether the play's been compromised (for whatever reason).

Dak needs to take responsibility to be able to see that a timed route isnt there and stop making a bad situation worse, but then again CD does have spells where he seems to dial out on concentration (wrong routes/drops etc) and I get the impression that Talbot went to a small school because of academic frailties, he cant even learn basic starting line up let alone the receiving play book.
Receivers die in Dak offenses.

Yep, and not helped by KM's play calling. Whoever we blame on the two interceptions, whether it's Dak or Schultz or CeeDee, the fact still remains it was a highly risky throw (DIRECTLY AT THE SAFETY), even with the correct route those plays are high risk-minimal reward as the throw could easily be broken up.

"trash" is a bit of an overstatement but I do get your point.

quite a few bad contract decisions over the years have hobbled this franchise

relax every- body jerry will have a ton of excuses when there 1 and done and the draft is right around the corner because that's as much excitement as your gonna get. remember the green bay game when a 3 level offense line and a disabled QB with a rookie wide receiver destroyed that great defense don't worry there always another 25 years of excuses coming like (we'll watch the tape and clean up the mistakes how long has that excuse rode along) or we will clean up the penalities that's been going on since jason garrett to mike the hamburger coach.

....then Dak is headed for a TRomo career. Such similarity.

LOL What?

Let's see...

First, he will have to hold the team all-time records in most passing TD's, most passing yards, most games with at least 300 passing yards and most games with three or more TD's to name a few..

Then to have a Tony Romo career he would have to actually have great pre-snap reads, lead the league in comebacks, have the highest 4th quarter QB rating, and take his team to the brink of an NFC Championship game (all 2016)...

Not to mention a career with almost 35,000 yards and 248 TD's...

Then...he would have to retire with the 11th-highest QB rating of all time.

And...he would also have to hold the all-time NFL record for most consecutive road TD passes at 43...

And...finish tied with Peyton Manning and ahead of Troy Akman, Dan Marino, Kurt Warner, Brett Favre, and yes, Roger Staubach in all-time interception percentage leaders.

And above all that - he would actually be accurate, throw a great deep ball, and NOT have the worst 3rd down QB rating of any quarterback in the NFL since 2005.

Other than that dude...excellent comparison!

40 million puts you as the 8th highest paid QB……it’s really not a lot. Not sure why we still act like 40 million is some insane number. Go look around the league at QB deals. Dak is being paid right where he belongs
