And by the way, I would argue that never in his career has Parcells had as tough a game as that Giants game, certainly not since he's been here.

All in one game he altered the course of the franchise, pulled one of "his" guys who he brought here certainly to start for more than a season and a quarter (Bledsoe) so he could put in a guy who he couldn't have possibly been sure about (Romo), witnessed the team come out absolutely flat in maybe the biggest regular season or division game since he's been here... all at home.

I would be sucking on some sour, sour lemons too. Except I probably would have been in a hospital bed because I'da beat myself senseless with the phone that connects up to the coaches booth.

No doubt he's less animated because he's slowing down,,, but I'd say a HUGE part of it is the total and complete ineptitude displayed by some of these players. I mean it's been jaw-dropping stuff,,, sometimes I've found myself staring at the big screen, mouth agape, eyes glossed over, in total disbelief thinking "What's wrong with these idiots? This can't be happening. Somebody wake me up from this nightmare!"

I know that feeling. Until this past Sunday night, I havn't been in the excited mode in a long time. It's nice to know we can expect a little more now. Lets all hope it continues.
