Well, Crawford is locked up at a bargain rate, so....yep

This defense isnt ready.

The only shot we have is going 2016 by playing keep away.

Strong OL, power run with fatty stoner, dink and dunk....maybe using our WR as decoys for the most part.

Hey, may as well just let Dalton do that.

Where are we headed as an organization exactly?

They already have one mega-contract at DE with D Lawrence.

Maybe the combo of Alon Smith, Crawford, Gregory and Anae can fill int e DE blanks enough.

The interior looks better/deeper with Poe, McCoy, HIll, Woods, and Gallimore

Theres no Gregory. Crawford stinks.

Smith is a longshot at best, and the rest are rookies.

If we are rebuilding on defense, and it fully appears they are, I dont see the need to go all in om Prescott.

These are questions that the local media is scared to ask Jerry because they will be banned from the building.

I really would like a state of the union right now, but I doubt it happens.

Keep buying those jerseys folks. Get your Lamb 88.

Rudderless ship headed wherever right now.

D-line will be better this year than last...imo

I do agree on having mixed emotions when we drafted a WR in the first round.
Like taking sand to the beach.
But I get that it would be hard to pass up that kind of talent.
I still don't hate them for it, but almost wish he had been taken so we didn't have t make that choice.
Just seemed like overkill in such an incredibly deep WR class.

DE/LB Chaisson had his warts though. He may end up being a star though...guess we'll see.

No problem with taking Lamb at 17.

It was a no brainer.

I just dont know if they are in "win now" mode or rebuild mode.

Seems like its...."just try to stay relevant" mode.

Give out extensions to the wrong dudes, and compounding the mess by being stingy with others.

Pick a direction. I can live with either one.

Everything has to be a "bargain," which is great, but then they pay sunglass boy way before they need to, then he mails it in.

Jarwin gets money based o what they think he can do.

Crawford at 8m, but dont consider Griffen.

Their track record doesnt exactly give them the benefit of the doubt.

i thought about gambling on giving Clowney a one year rental -prove it ,..at best.
Would you rather gamble on Clowney for one year at 8-9 million ..or Crawford (and his two troubling hips?) at 8-9 million ?
i'm not sold at all to commit long term to Clowney after his 3 sacks in Seattle.

they are somewhere in between....I think they are trying to build a team that has a four to five year window

Yeah it's the right call, though he's a good player injuries always seem to derail his productivity. Call me crazy, but I rather gamble on our two players for a quarter of the cost. I would bet those players will produce more sacks than Clowney, but just a guess : )

Seriously doubt Clowney would sign a one-year deal at $8-$9mil — no matter who the team was.

It was pushing the envelope to sign a couple guys out of their prime. This is nothing new. We simply won't go the extra mile to put us over the top. Can't afford it...we like our guys...the same tired excuses. Crawford is garbage, Gregory might not want to even play football, D-Law was a no-show last season. Yeah...no interest. We won't go after Griffin, either.

Agree......last I heard/read, Seahawks offered $13-15M alone with Browns. He thinks his value is closer to $20M.

In THEIR heads, I think they are completely all in to win now, but without completely deleting the future.

I think they believe they can win the whole thing.

What? Why?

When Tyron Smith and Zack Martin are done? Nice strategy
