yeah I agree, and the problem I have is the jones boys dont even try to get some of these players at a cheaper rate than what they are asking.
If it were me , I would go talk to the guy, see where his head was at, and make him a offer.
if he turns it down fine, I tried, but jones boys dont try.

clean it up and sell to some sucker as potential good land, lol then when they ran out of money, he would buy it back for pennies on the dollar,
and then do same thing again. And he made millions doing that , but still had to borrow money to buy the cowboys.

Maybe the combo of Alon Smith, Crawford, Gregory and Anae can fill int e DE blanks enough.

The interior looks better/deeper with Poe, McCoy, HIll, Woods, and Gallimore

Aldon Smith is the key.

If he is productive, we are fine.

Clowney is a luxury signing if we were 1 player away from being top 3.

But we have way more questions than that.

Questions all over the defense: DL, Lbers injured and aging, safeties and CBs unproven are all being mixed without any certainty of success.

We wait until next year before spending more IMO.

They dont plan, they ad lib every year, spur of the moment deals, like cooper.
They had no plan to hire MM and let him hire a whole staff, they just did all that spur of the moment.
I think that is one of their better moves in years, and it might work out good.
One plan was to build a coach in JG, and that went on for years lol till finally they gave up on that.
But every year is a SB year to jones boys, they think if you just get in playoffs, their team can get hot and go all the way.
That isnt how the playoffs work though, even though a few teams have done that.
