This article echoed my thoughts of Nolan from his time in Miami. This is only for Miami, as I only really followed him there. Maybe it wasn't his fault, but anywho.

if we are hearing more and more vibes and beeps about Mike Nolan, ,.. then it's looking more and more like he's the likely hire, instead of Marvin Lewis.
i dont think Nolan fare near as well as he did with his days as DC in Baltimore.
Maybe it was too big a personnel gap instead of the elite group of ray lewis, Reed, Suggs, Bouldware, McAlister, etc. that he enjoyed in Baltimore.
