Brad Allen's Crew Expected to be Downgraded

She shouldn't be exempt from criticism or accountability because she has ovaries, either.
She’s not.

You’ve only made it your crusade to keep pointing it out.

There are literally of horrible calls, non-calls every week. Do you make it a point to say “this male referee blew the call.”

Refs generally suck. Being a male or female doesn’t inherently make you exempt or more prone to making bad call.

Stuff like this happens all the time in the NFL.

When the defense needs a stop all of a sudden the refs decide to call holding.

When the offense needs a drive all of a sudden they want to call illegal contact or defensive holding.

It’s been going on for years. And it’s not just a cowboys thing.
I agree. I’ve actually been saying it for years. It appears that the refs will be helping one team over and over with timely penalties and then all of a sudden switch and start helping the other team. Almost as if they are trying to keep the games close for as long as possible. Sometimes it gets ridiculous with fantom calls and not reversing obvious replays that I can’t help but conclude something is going on. It happens with many games each week. It certainly is not just the Cowboys.

As Aikman pointed out..
  1. Pay the refs more so they don’t all leave to networks
  2. Stop the NYC remote call nonsense that undermines the refs and leaves them second guessing about everything
  3. I forgot which poster here had the idea, but I think it’s a great idea. Have a head ref up in the booth with all the technology the media and fans have access, that helps coordinate the calls at the game with his ref team.

Ya it’s great they’re showing it, but they’re the ones who beat the drum on that 2-point play after the game. Like somehow the Lions were robbed. They completely ignored the other flags in the play. I actually turned off SVP it got so bad.
SVP needs to go back to the Golf Channel.

......LMAO.....its blatantly there almost acted out for academy award

How do you miss that?

“Allen's officiating crew is expected to be downgraded, which will influence whether those officials are chosen for the postseason […]

Allen's crew failed to call a blatant and potentially game-deciding pass interference penalty earlier this month in a game between the Chiefs and Packers -- one week after missing a similar call in a game between the Saints and Falcons.

Officials are evaluated on every play of every game. League officiating staff analyze the performance of every official, both for the calls that are made and those that are not. That review results in a grade which plays a major role in determining how to help the officials improve their performance as well as decide which officials will officiate in the playoffs. There are also year-end evaluations of every official.”

Notice this was the same crew missed the blatant PI call in the Chiefs/Packers game. So how does this all fold into the conspiracy narrative? I’ll answer for you…there’s just sucky referees not a conspiracy.
Not many are saying the refs suck against Dallas only.

Dallas is the most hated, so maybe, just maybe....... some of the subjective calls may not go their way at "critical times" a little bit more.

..im not complaining. We finally got the calls, when it counted.

Sure they missed some. But hey, we got crucial ones.

Crusade? Where?

I totally agree with your last sentence. Brad Allen is getting killed and nobody raises an eyebrow. They shouldn't when a female ref screws up, either.

The funny thing is, until the last two minutes of the game, the referees were actually good in this game. They let the players play, and did not insert themselves into the game. But, boy, did they screw up the Hendershot trip and the reporting snafu.
Couldn’t agree more.

I love how the ONE time we get an advantageous call the refs are immediately reprimanded. Screw the NFL.
This is all John Mara. He is livid that a call benefited the Cowboys. He will be looking for payback come playoff time.

Glad that the wrong call on Hendershot is also being named as a reason for why this crew is being downgraded. Since so many were just focused on the missed call which cost the Lions the game. But they never should have had the ball in the first place if the Refs never wrongly threw the flag on him.

both situations can be true simultaneously, though this game didn't have any apparent reasons for the league to put their thumb on the scale other than the usual home cooking. They called it relatively straight compared to other games, just some bad calls. Nice that someone actually highlighted that dyslexic tripping call.

How do you seemingly randomly call a rare tripping penalty, apparently not really sure of what you saw? I mean that was a critical potentially game altering mistake.

When you miss obvious calls like that, then yes you should be downgraded.

Maybe you shouldn't be an official in the NFL any more either.
I rarely stand up for officials. But i believe Campbell is a crook and orchestrated the three lineman confusion by intent to confuse dallas and of course the officials. Campbell is getting innocent people fired due to his illicit motives.

Downgraded from what?

It's not like the rest of the officiating this year has been pristine. But once a bad call benefits the Cowboys everyone runs out into the streets screaming.
If you watch other games you’d know officiating across the league has been horrible. It’s just Cowboy fans that think the world is out to get them.

There's no evidence a "missed call" led to the Lions losing the game. All we know is 3 offensive linemen talked to the ref, who then announced to everyone in the stadium that 70 was eligible. Dallas did not cover 68, since there was no reason to, and the Lions threw him the ball knowing he was not announced. If the play counts Dallas can dispute the game saying they were never told 68 was eligible, which is demonstrably true.

Lions screwed themselves.

If the Cowboys get the tripping called against the Lions, they get a first down inside the Lions 15. From there they just run the ball 3 times taking about 95 seconds off the clock. They kick the FG and Detroit has about 30 seconds and not time outs to go the length of the field and score a TD. But the point is, if the Cowboys are not pushed back 15 yards, the play calling is very different and the outcome of the game is very different. What is troublesome is Hendershot never even put a leg out for any reason. How did the refs see that as tripping? Someone on that crew has really bad eyesight and needs to find a new job.

Stupid penalties against Pollard cost me 600 parlay
