If we ever have to go to this guy for an extended period of time...start working on your draft boards

I hope Moore makes him dispensable.
First things first, somebody better get that boy a cheeseburger. Matt looks like he doesn't even weigh 20 pounds soaking wet.

We have a major issue at backup QB

Matt Moore lokes like a promising QB that might be ready years down the line.....like a young Romo

Well, he IS the Anti Testaverde/Bledsoe/Rex Grossman. Whereas they won't check down, he won't even look downfield

What's the purpose, he can't get it down there anyway. Is it any way possible we might get somebody else to replace him? Serious question.

I saw a few Vikings games last year and he heaved more than a few ill advised ducks downfield intercepted. He was horid.

Matt Moore is a promising Long term QB thought. Brad Johnson may be a camp cut, just not relevant anymore....

ooops. Didn't realize I had entered the "drama queen" thread. Someone should change the title.

Unclaimed corpses at the morgue have stronger arms. That lollipop throw to Fasano was a joke. Any type of velocity and that's a completion.

And yet, what did that graphic say? Something about 5th best completion percentage or summin' like that?

Yeah, we get it. His arm strength sucks.

However, unlike Bartel or Moore, he has experience. And unlike Bartel or Moore, he has proven he can win games and be a starting QB at the NFL level.

Rationalization is not allowed in this thread. Move along.

Actually he has proven that he COULD win games...still CAN win games is now in question.

However, I am in favor of keeping him around for his experience and his sideline presence. He is still a guy that the young QB's can learn from. But I hope we NEVER have to see him in a game.

Yup. I figure he'll need a couple of seasons just to put on the necessary weight so he can survive the pounding the average QB has to endure.

Also, the equipment manager should hook him up w/ bigger shoulder pads. He looked like a place kicker tonight.

Is that pic from the "Happy Birthday, Joe" game in 1985?

The thing about Brad is this. His arm strength is marginal at this point in his career and if he's our starter due to injury then hello mediocrity. But he does serve a role as a mentor to Tony and Matt Moore. The signing of Johnson is really reminiscent of when we picked up Wade Wilson in 1995.
