You're right. This is fun. Want to know the biggest difference between your scenario and mine? Reality, and I don't mean the owner of this site. A much smaller difference would be the number of people here who would have to grudgingly give the GM credit because they have pointedly said "never again" while he is GM.

Meanwhile I won't have to. I give him no credit for the previous 3 Super Bowls and I won't if we shock the world again. Not for the personnel. I'll give him credit for hiring the right coach. That's it for me just like when he hired Jimmy.

What will Bradie James explanation be then I wonder? That might be a fun what if game too.

That's a game I'd love to play. Sadly I don't any of us will be able to any time soon.

If Bradie James were half the ILB that either Lee or Carter are, we'd probably have more than one playoff win over the last decade plus.

I so miss him leaving the middle of the field open on passing plays, making tackles 4-5 yards down the field, getting stonewalled on blitzes (expect '06..wth got into him that year?), getting left in RB's dust, etc.

I've never seen a guy (unless it's his LSU buddy Spears) do so little while talking so much.

the giants are 3rd.

lots of 2 and 3 win teams are really low profile.
