Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different results and that’s what Cowboys are doing with Gregory. Ten sacks in four season isn’t nothing to be bragging about even though there is potential there.
The breakout star on the DL is going to be Bradlee Anae with 10 + sacks & 4 forced fumbles minimum this upcoming season with the motor of Lawerence Taylor. He is the protoypical DE for Quinn’s defense that can rush in 4-3 hands down or stand up and play OLB like Von Miller. Unlike Gregory his motor doesn’t stop, he is stouter against the run and brings a whole another level of-nastiness QBs fear.
Bradlee Anae
Height: 6’-3”
Arm length: 32”
Weight: 257 lbs
Lawrence Taylor
Height: 6’-3”
Arm length: 34”
Weight: 240 lbs
He got 1 sack with 1 rep he got or about 10% of Randy Gregory’s career.
Let him get more snap and watch.

I doubt either do, but if one does it is way more likely to be Gregory.I bet you that randy will get at least 10 before anae this season
With his first full season randy will able to play more. Since weed no longer test. He will play with no worry that he might be suspended
I think what we like is the idea of him - the hard working, high motor underdog. Unfortunately, so far there isn’t any evidence those things will translate into him doing well in the NFL. Hopefully we see that evidence this year, but I’m skeptical
College is very different from the pros though. Once in the NFL all that matters is what you can show at that level. Lot's of big time college players don't succeed in the NFL, and that's especially true when scouts don't see a big time pro prospect and the pure athleticism isn't there to work with. The high motor obviously helps, but it remains to be seen if that's enough to overcome his apparent lack of speed and quickness.Reputation and knack for sacks and pass rushing.
whether college, all star practices/game, Cowboys training camp, ...always seen or heard of his performance as a pure pass rusher - totally the opposite with a Dorace
Armstrong disrupting and being an edge factor.
But i'll keep hearing the same " high motor/hard working " traits about Armstrong too.(ditto for what i'm hearing about Basham as well)
that's fine and good, just as Dorace has contributed on special teams in his 3rd year ton this team, but i need and still waiting to see pure ability as a
pass rusher first off,
Not "we", just the OP. The rest of us should never have even responded when he did that, but it's hard to keep silent after such blatant stretches of logic and common sense.Wow... just wow... one of the greatest LB, not to mention defenders in the game in LT and we are comparing Anae to him?!?
this is a good chance he may not even be on the team in sept.Aim for the moon not 10 sacks over 4 season!
