Strahan is correct. It's one thing to hire a coach but it is a whole other thing to empower a coach. Nobody can succeed with Jerry meddling in everything. That is why the past 20 years have been a waste.

Jimmy did and Parcells was doing better than JG. But that just proves your and a ton of others point.

Who can coach in Dallas with Jerry undermining his authority all the time? You need a guy with skins on the wall like Bill used to say. Not some coach in training who never had any authority to lose in the first place.

If it's not the coach, than why did they fire Rob Ryan? If it's not the coach, why were all the Garrett homers blaming Kiffen? If it's not the coach, then why was all the criticism directed at Wade by the Garrett defenders?

Apparently, the only time it's not the coach is when it concerns Garrett... I thought Garrett was making a culture change, built this team with his players and RKGs, now Jerry is to be blamed again?

Who listens to anything Bradshaw has to say? I didn't listen to him last season but I'm sure he wasn't calling for Garrett's head then. Losing causes a great deal of angst and brings out all the hyperbolic airbags.

A couple of minutes ago on Fox Pregame. He says they need a coach who can instill fear in the players. Long says that's not fair to Garrett. Strahan blames Jerry again. Menefee says Jerry empowers too many questionable characters. Jimmy keeps mostly quiet.

I agree with Terry but not for this reason.

Jason Garrett had plenty of freedom. Jerry let him control the offense for years. When Reeves was suppose to come here, it was squashed. He hired all of Garrett's brothers and even let his HC promote one of them to passing game coordinator, after one year as TE coach. Those were the days when the Garrett clan were trying to promote Ogletree as one of their WRs.

Other coaches on the other hand were not afforded what Jason was. Jerry only forced Jason' hand and if it weren't for that affiliation, JG would have been fired long ago.

Yeah, and Jimmy had to go because Jerry wasn't about to let him take his spotlight... Jerry started meddling way too much and Jimmy walked. Parcells also figured it out that he wouldn't be able to fully run his team without the meddling from Jerry, so he had to go too. So yeah, my point is proven, along with many other fans who have figured it out. 20 years, no success...one common denominator.. Jerry Jones.

How dare he question Garrett and his one winning season...

Face it, it all comes down to results. His have been mediocre.

8-8-, 8-8, 8-8, 12-4, 7-9 or worse this year. Won't have to worry about losing his job though, because he is Jerry's yes man. The only thing that guy is good at is clapping. What a waste.

There is a purposely built system in place that really never allows any one person to be actually accountable. It's all a murky system that allows each party to mostly shed blame. The exception being the DC apparently.

20 years of a pattern to see and both Bradshaw and Strahan are correct.

Bingo. 20 year pattern of a billionaire ego maniac running our team into the ground. It's not JG's fault, he knows he sucks but if JJ is willing to pay the millions for him to coach without getting results then who is he to complain? He truly is a smart guy.
