He also has that with TB.But had top coaching and defense.

Facing a back-up QB
pay a player 40 mil, they protect their investment, running game is productive, WR yes a few drops so what, they make up for just as much on poor passes. He runs he's just selective now, it's your bias blinders that are deceiving you, I have no idea how you can post this stuff, like I said, the running game and great D are what has bailed out his average play. If he gets hurt I know you will be calling the staff for allowing him to run. It's kind of comical how the excuse brigade has one for every situation and can come with a new one daily. Did you ever think the staff knows better about Daks weakness that you do and try and play to his strengths. Have you watched him run lately, he looks like a rupture duck out there. With the opportunities the D have provide the O and Dak both have been average at best. How do you write this sort of thing with a straight face? The receivers dropped 6 passes yesterday.. CD Lamb dropped 3 all by his lonesome.. They put up a graphic during the game that said the Cowboys receivers had dropped 18 balls in the previous 4 games.. which means with 6 more yesterday they have 24 over the last 5 games.. The offensive line has been horrible for weeks and the running game has been C-minus or worse for two months.. I am not defending Dak's play in the least because I think he has it within himself to compensate for poor line play, augment his running game and convert first downs.. All he has to do is run when the opportunity presents. He has also taken on this "greedy" attitude far more than I would like.. That has led to his taking deep heaves when a guy is standing 15 feet away from him for an easy first down which has ended in us punting way more than we should be. Or worse it has caused him to hold the ball too long and give up sacks.. He needs to get back to the old Dak who takes the first down instead of taking unnecessary risks with the ball.. But I honestly don't think we're going to see that guy until the playoffs. And I wonder if that isn't by design.. I think the coaches and the Joneses have been in his ear about running and he aint doin it except in dire emergency until playoff time.
Excuses will be made for him too, I'm sure of itPeople here have been claiming that "great QBs find a way" and that sort of thing when piling on Dak for not lighting teams up with his guys out.. Oh and how great did Kyler Murray look without D-Hop? It's amazing how ordinary a QB can look when the receiver group gets depleted. I know the ABD crowd doesn't wanna hear it but Dak and Moore have been working on getting this whole 2 deep shell coverage figured out. It would be a lot easier if they would run the damn ball more but Kellen Moore aint doin that unless Jerry himself is standing on the sidelines screaming at him to run the ball. But I digress.
I also said that. No response. Talk about CONTEXT lol.Facing a back-up QB
Context right ? lolYeah Rodgers also played a decimated Ravens team with backups playing at every level of the defense. Oh by the way Lamar Jackson was also out.
You’ve been tarred and feathered more over several weeks than anyone I can ever recall on this board.Yes.
Dak and Brady are the exact same QB.
To win....like they've been doing. So since Dak has a top tier defense and top receivers what should the expectation be?

I think the original poster brings up a good point though. Last night make daks game against the raiders look better to be honest.
while dak hasn’t been great lately I think he played well yesterday. Take away the drops and he has like 5 incompletions. His only mistake was the forced deep bal fumble in my opinion
I can give Dak a pass on the games when he was without CD and Cooper. But he has been playing poorly with a full healthy unit as well.People here have been claiming that "great QBs find a way" and that sort of thing when piling on Dak for not lighting teams up with his guys out.. Rarely do teams stay completely healthy on one side of the ball all season. Sure we've had some injuries and you expect some struggles because of those injuries. But Dak is not playing at a high level since his injury. He has played ok at times but overall his play has been below average since we beat new england.
You need better from your 40 million dollar man. As well as the defense has played, I don't think you can count on forcing 3 or 4 turnovers a game in the playoffs.
Every QB has bad games. There's no denying that. But Dak has been bad for awhile now. You can blame other players on offense if u want. But Dak is the man who is paid to be the difference maker above all else.
LolYes.
