Honestly we aren't bad at wr. I wouldn't wants to take on Cooks salary and I imagine that was the sticking point.

As it is we need to RUN RUN RUN, take shots after we've gouged them and the wrs we have will feast.

Hopefully Clark becomes a difference maker at LB.

I dont know what blockbuster deal we missed on, but if yall make me aware, I'm happy to join in at being pissed off.

Packers fans should be much more furious. They didn’t do anything and they’re 3-5 and worsening their relationship with the QB every day
Agree with this.

I was waiting for them to add a Claypool, Cooks or Mims and have him go off next week lol

The Texans basically guaranteed nearly all of Cooks remaining contract so it's a tough one to sort out for trading. I'm sure the Cowboys were most concerned about the salary cap and didn't want to take on a lot of the contract.

Cooks isn’t a game changer at all.
Glad it didn’t happen

The Cowboys might as well had kept Cooper. There was no way the Cowboys would have traded for Cooks and that 18 million dollar salary. The guy has 1 more touchdown then Washington and Tolbert combined. Noah Brown has outplayed Cooks.

Just Jerry spreading his name out there more because he couldn't make a deal.

Just never understood all the love on Cooks besides the fact he is not a Cowboy. Outside a couple of years here and there he is on Par with what the team had in Cooper. Maybe more vertical presence but I would not have offered more than a 5th for him honestly when you have street FA like OBJ or Fuller available.

I love these couldn’t be resolved in time things- if you were serious about it- you would have made the time-
They just hope people like werder will leak this stuff so the fans believe they really tried.
That’s like saying I didn’t make my deadline at work on time because I couldn’t resolve it before the due date.
You would be fired- as should both Jerry and Stephen.
They want to keep the fan base in total suspense for years under the we are trying- drafting- managing space excuse. Only problem is we never win anything ever-
Lol, sure if you want to run the franchise with a childlike mentality in need of instant gratification. In reality, there’s no way you make a trade for Brandon Cooks at this stage of his career and with that contract, unless Houston agrees to buy out the majority of his contract the way Denver did Miller’s to the Rams last season and Chicago did Quinn’s to the Eagles last week. No other way does doing so meet any sort of logic and no amount of shrill screaming and vigorously stomping your wittle foot is going to change that reality!

So what you are saying is, we dig a ditch for our on grave then?

I'm saying we're lying in our bed like we usually do.

Maybe they pick up OBJ if the offense starts looking weak again, but that won't be until mid next month/Dec. If that even happens.

Even if it did, who knows what he'd look like.

Trade deadline passed, other teams improved for the season forward. We're waiting on guys like Tyron Smith and James Washington to get back. Guys like Schultz to heal and the Gallimores, Osa's and Damone Clark's to develop into emerging players coming into the playoffs.

Definitely banking on Parson's staying healthy and hopefully Zeke getting some old juice back.

Lot of hoping while we are able to beat lesser teams and lose to the perennial winners or now emerging right in our face Philly and Vikes.

We'll see after the bye going to GB and then having to deal with the Vikes that have quite the plethora of aerial weapons (now T.J Hockenson) and as always, Dalvin Cook to run the rock.

Brandon Cook wouldn't have put us over the top but would have been a solid addition. Albeit only $2 million a year less than Amari who I would rather have, but fell out of favor here.

I mean he has had like six 1,000 plus yard seasons
