I'm saying we're lying in our bed like we usually do.

Maybe they pick up OBJ if the offense starts looking weak again, but that won't be until mid next month/Dec. If that even happens.

Even if it did, who knows what he'd look like.

Trade deadline passed, other teams improved for the season forward. We're waiting on guys like Tyron Smith and James Washington to get back. Guys like Schultz to heal and the Gallimores, Osa's and Damone Clark's to develop into emerging players coming into the playoffs.

Definitely banking on Parson's staying healthy and hopefully Zeke getting some old juice back.

Lot of hoping while we are able to beat lesser teams and lose to the perennial winners or now emerging right in our face Philly and Vikes.

We'll see after the bye going to GB and then having to deal with the Vikes that have quite the plethora of aerial weapons (now T.J Hockenson) and as always, Dalvin Cook to run the rock.

Brandon Cook wouldn't have put us over the top but would have been a solid addition. Albeit only $2 million a year less than Amari who I would rather have, but fell out of favor here.
Kirk cousins is ranked 30th in QBR and 33rd in yards per attempt when targeting tight ends this season. Out of 33 qualified QBs. So there is that.

I wanted them to move mountains for Derrick brown and make this defense an elite unit. But they prefer throwing 13 picks at players in the draft in hopes 3 of them work out instead of just moving pieces and getting legit players. It’s becoming a lot to handle. Regardless of what happens this team should make a move up in the draft for Jalen Carter. I don’t care what it costs.

I am just not a fan of Cooks personally. I would have offered no more than a 3rd and they would need to pick up the majority of the cap hit.

Thus the trade for Hockenson (Pro Bowl TE that will help the passing and running game. His 2 WR's are getting action.

We play them in 3 weeks. Let's see how we do.

Panthers were not letting Brown, either of their starting corners, or D.J Moore go anywhere. Those are their young foundational players. They will get a new HC and high draft picks.

CMC is a player when on the field but like Zeke, wrong position being paid heavy for. They now get more draft picks that pretty much will amount to a low 1st rounder and also a good shot at getting 1 of the best 2 QB's in the draft.

We have no shot at landing Jalen Carter unless we lose out the rest of this season and that's not happening. Even then, not enough capital.

They probably would have had to give up a fifth and they thought it was too much since that's what the trades Coop for. We all know that Coop > Cooks

I just don’t think our WRs are that bad. No we don’t have a dominant WR1 but we have a couple really good WR2s.

You still have Washington. Tolbert is still learning. Turpin needs more plays…..

It is extremely likely you can get a FA WR of Cook’s caliber for less than his contract this off-season, maybe even cooks himself lol

I like Brandin Cooks, but I don't $18M guaranteed next year like Brandin Cooks. If the money didn't work out, I would have no problem walking away from the table. Let's put that cap space towards a Diggs extension.

I wanted Brown too but you just have to accept the reality that he truly was never on the table. Losing teams are offering players they don't want to pay and can replace. Brown fits neither of those criteria. Who got traded? RBs, WRs, TEs, and $20M LBs. Not elite OT and DT on rookie deals. I would have thrown our best draft picks at either of those options. Those are winning trades for talent.
